Sunlite 3 Sound Electric Horn

I bought this for my kids Power Wheels Keep. It mounted very easily with a plastic wire tie and the included metal bracket.Its so easy to use, the siren is clear and the voice mic works great. There is a spot on the back of the siren for the hand piece to clip into, and its quite sturdy.2 thumbs up, and the price rocks. You will not regret buying this. My 4yr old just loves it.

We got these as gifts for a few people and the kids really liked the siren noises but the microphone is so distorted that it’s impossible to even talk into. I really don’t like writing bad reviews but I felt this needed to be said. All in all the product is kind of a bummer. Was looking forward to putting these on their scooters

Please read as i found a way to eliminate the scratchy microphone and raspy sound.The battery pad wires could be a couple inches longer, as one broke while trying to plug in battery and I had to disassemble the case to solder the connection.Before soldering the wire, I tested the wire on each terminal to speaker. The location it broke off from (other black wire) left the speaker sounds raspy and scratchy with no clarity of voice or siren. I placed the wire on the opposite terminal (brown colored wire) and miraculously it sounded perfect and much louder. Not sure if they made a mistake in the factory, but we had bought two units for both of my boys and they were both faulty. I took apart the second unit, did the same thing by soldering the black battery terminal wire to the speaker with brown wire and voila! Hope this helps others out there with the same reported problem.Now my boys are happy riding their bikes blaring sirens around the neighborhood and driving all the neighbors batty...lolI have to admit, it is a headache to listen too, but they love it.Peace ✌

At $13, it is great to see that this model is still being produced. It is essentially the exact same version as was around in the '70s, only much less expensive. The plastic they use on the original version is higher quality, & the cord is more "springy", but considering this one is less than half of what the vintage ones cost it is a great purchase. Perfect for re-capturing the fun of old bicycle gadgetry.

I think these are all wired backwards from the factory. I've seen multiple other reviewers saying the same thing. The black battery wire is soldered to the wrong terminal. The microphone setting/feature will not work AT ALL unless you switch the black battery with to the other terminal, where the brown wire is connected. I had to order a ~$12 soldering iron, also from Amazon to perform the fix, as I didn't already own one with a small enough tip for this small of a wire. The 3 stars is because I shouldn't have to fix the thing to make it work the first time. 5 stars after YOU fix it, though! The mic works as I would expect for a toy: loud enough for fun, but definitely not a professional PA...which is probably a GOOD thing. The sirens are all blaring and crystal clear now too. Close enough to the one I had back in the 80's, which I think this is modeled after. Same color and everything.

Wasn't working from the moment it came out of the package. Ordered the Police 4-Melody Power Horn Siren at the same time, mostly because there were a lot of complaints about the quality of the Sunlite product. The Power Horn siren has been great and my son uses it ever day when riding his bike. I'm not sure that I'll even take the time to send this Sunlite alarm back to the company we bought from since I'll probably just get another piece of junk back from them.

I BOUGHT ONE OF THESE ABOUT 7 YEARS AGO FOR MY WHEELCHAIR AND IT HAS WORKED GREAT UNTIL IT ACCIDENTALLY GOT BROKEN. WHEN I RE-ORDERED, WHAT CAME WAS JUNK! IT DIDN'T WORK RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. THE COMPANY WAS VERY NICE AND REPLACED IT IMMEDIATELY. UNFORTUNATELY THAT ALSO WAS JUNK! IT WORKED FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS THEN FELL APART-LITERALLY!!. SAD TO SAY BUT AS FAR AS I CAN SEARCH, THIS IS THE ONLY COMPANY THAT MAKES THESE TYPES OF HORNS, AND THEY ATTACH PERFECTLY TO MY WHEELCHAIR. I LIKE THEM BECAUSE OF THE DIFFERENT SOUNDS AND THEY ARE VERY LOUD TO GET PEOPLE OUT OF MY WAY. I ORDERED ANOTHER OUT OF NECESSITY AND AM PRAYING TO GOD I GET A DECENT ONE THIS TIME. IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL IF COMPANIES STILL TOOK THE TIME TO MANUFACTURE THINGS AS THEY DID YEARS AGO...TO LAST!

Loved these as a kid and my boys love them now.Very fun toy.Good quality product just as described.I love these items. Lots of choices from the seller.Items were packaged well and shipped in a good timely mannerI would definitely buy from again.
