Amscan P12973 - Black Dragon Party Pinata - 62 cm

It's a pretty big pinata but the internal cavity isn't as big as it could be. I had a box of sweets and small toys on standby for any kids who didn't get any because I'd squashed stuff into every bit of it that I could but it wasn't that much.The tail was squashed in transit but pulled straight easy enough, same with the feet. I customised ours with some coloured tissue paper flames in its mouth, because it's a dragon so why wouldn t I?! The kids manage to beat it open thankfully otherwise they would have been disappointed. It was easier to crack than many we've had but not too easy if that makes sense.It was perfect for a How To Train Your Dragon themed party.would recommend

Obviously I havnt used yet but by just looking at the dragon pinata received doesn't look actually very impressive. Hope its going to be ok,not very big space it seems to hold many treats but will see. And the dragon itself looks a bit skinny and not as 'full and rounded' in size as the picture on site seems to suggest. A bit disappointed but maybe the grandchildren will be pleased on seeing it ?!

Looks great, feels solid. It was a bit difficult to open up a suitable hole to fill the pinata. I gave this to my wife as part of Valentine's, and it took her some effort to break it open with a pinata stick. So probably not best suited to very small kids, and definitely needs to be hung from a strong mounting with some strong string, and needs a solid pinata stick.

I imagine it would have arrived looking exactly like it does in the picture, IF it had been packed with more care. My pinata arrived looking very sorry for itself: the wings are bent backwards, the black paper is torn in places showing the cardboard underneath and the tail is torn right through and is about to fall off. Most of the damage is cosmetic, so I will fix it with sellotape, but I shouldn't have to. All that was needed was a bigger box, some flow pack and a little more care!UPDATE: Legs Galore have immediately offered to replace the item.

The box had plenty of padding but the head is half hanging off and it's completely flattened, like someone's already had a go at it with a big stick.Would return but need it before a replacement could arrive, so will have to patch it up with some tape. It's only going to get destroyed anyway so not the end of the world, but still.

Terrible quality. Broke open and ripped completely so it was unusable after only one gentle hit from a five year old.

My son loved this at his dragon themed party! Easy to fill and was easy enough to attach to a Shepard hook in the garden. The piñata took a good half hour for the children to break apart. It was quite sturdy, which made it perfect for the amount of children and meant everyone got a turn!

Arrived promptly, in good condition, looks great! Good size. Thank you. Using after Xmas so can't report on how well it works, but I'm sure my 5year old will love it at his knights and castles/dragons party
