The mechanism comes without any leaflet or instruction how to install it. Once we have worked it out we found out that the attached screws for fitting it are far too short as about 1 cm long and the other ones 2cm long. No way one can feel it is going to be safe to rest the whole bed frame with the mattress with those. It is described for twin or king size bed. I had it attached to the double size one. It sort of works with an empty bed frame. However, when you add a mattress, the bed is still very heavy to lift with both hands by a grownup person. Don’t even attempt to do it by a child. When getting the bed down you still need to hold it very strongly with both hands as other wise it comes down at super speed, as if there was none of the springs installed and a huge bang so you damage your floor and/ or the bed frame itself. We adjusted the strength go of the springs and no way will it lift or drop the bed at any point safely by itself, even when it is half way up. Not sure how come it is shown working on the previous videos but only assuming it is an empty bed frame without a mattress as I can’t see one there.Definitely not worth money. It’s not working as described and not safe.Will be replacing it with pistons.Real shame.
