The mirror is especially useful to help you see the reverse side of your teeth. I found it easier to see my bottom teeth though, but I may simply need more practice with the upper ones.The edges and points on the tools are perfectly formed with no jagged edges at all which makes me think the production side was well done.The zippered case I felt was a little tight fitting but it holds the tools securely. As for cleaning the tools, I put them into a tray with boiling water for a few minutes, then cleaned them with soapy water and rinsed them off after each use. The case I just gave a quick spray of hand sanitizer and left it open to dry out.I won’t use them often as I floss and use an electric toothbrush, but they are handy to have to use every few months perhaps in between visits to the hygienist or if you see a build-up of plaque.They do the trick but are sadly unavailable at the time of review, however, based on other prices if it stays at the £9.99 mark, then it’s 5 stars for this dental care kit from me.

A well made & compact little dental care set. At the moment while many are still self isolating [& with the potential of another lock-down looming], heading to the dentist isn't an option or a high priority for many. But taking care of your gnashers is something to think on.Here's what you get: -*1 x Zippered, stiffened fabric case for storage.*1 x Stainless steel dental mirror.*1 x Stainless steel tongue scraper.*1 x Stainless Steel set of fine tweezers.*1 x Stainless steel Jacquette scaler, double sided.*1 x Stainless Steel Heidemann scaler, double sided.*1 x Stainless steel blade excavator/tartar scaler.*2 x Sets of instructions, 1 x English, 1 x German.Its worth while cleaning anything you get delivered, especially something you are going to stick into your mouth. Boiling water should suffice but I decided to go a stage further. After a boil wash in a bowl I placed the tools into a pressure cooker & used it as an improvised autoclave. The higher temperatures & pressure making sure they would be clean & sterile. The cane I soaked in a warm food safe antibacterial solution, then dried it off.The set is pretty good & a decent price. [The price isn't listed at the moment as the item isn't available, but it was listed at £9.99 I'm pretty sure.] I wish a set like this had been available when we were buying one to take on expeditions, they cost a small fortune. Though they had a few extras like temporary dental amalgam, syringes & pain relief.This set however is aimed at oral hygiene rather than oral repair. There are most of the tools needed to scrape away any tartar, plaque or remove things stuck between the teeth that brushing, floss or water picks wont dislodge. If you are using the mirror its worthwhile heating it up in hot water first, that way it wont steam up from breath condensation. The clarity of the mirror is very good; no ripples or distortion. The handles of all the tools have a knurled grip which allows good manipulation & no slippage, even if your hands are wet. Be careful with the tools though, they have sharp edges & pointy ends so you don't want to damage or pierce your gums. You also want to be gentle sticking things between your teeth, you don't want to loosen or crack teeth... or you really will need to visit a dentist.The set doesn't just have to be used for dental work, you could also use it for model making or crafts. They are precise enough that doing fiddly bits on models or shaping materials like wax, plaster or clay will be a pleasure. [NB, don't use the same set for models/crafts as for sticking in your mouth!]I suppose at a push you could use the set for dental "cosplay" if that's your thing, you could play as Laurence Olivier's Christian Szell; from Marathon Man or Steve Martin as Orin Scrivello, DDS, a sadistic, nitrous oxide-addicted dentist from Little Shop of Horrors.😁Good set & I'm happy with it. Its already earned a place in my bathroom cabinet, I'd been cooking the other day & had a caraway seed jammed in-between two of my teeth that neither my toothbrush or water pick could dislodge. A few seconds with one of the picks from the set & it was out. So no qualms about recommending the set.

This is a good quality set of several dental implements that is presented in a good quality, flat, zipped case that contains loops to keep the tools securely in place. Unlike some dental sets, this particular set contains a metal tongue scraper.While I tested the scrapers on my teeth, my primary purpose for ordering this product was for use with a 3D printer. I can confirm that the scrapers successfully removed dental tartar.I have been able to use this set to help remove 3D prints from the print bed of my 3D printer as well as to scrape rough bits of the 3D print to smooth it off. The tools also proved useful for enlarging holes in 3D printed parts. The probe has also been great for checking between tightly spaced solder joints and also removing solder.

Whilst this is a well made and put together kit, one of the most frequently used items is the tongue scraper and, for me, this is too small and the wrong shape so I will continue to use the one I already own.Having said that, this set is quite comprehensive, all provided in a slim protective and fitted case. It includes many of the items (if not all) that one is likely to need to maintain good dental and oral hygiene. Whilst you may not use all of the elements daily they are there if you need them.For those of us with inter-dental gaps they can be a godsend and will reach places simple polishing and mouth-washing will not reach.Happy to recommend this to prospective purchasers.

This dental care kit is a really top quality product, nice and shiny too.The small, strong zipped nylon case contains a tongue scraper, tweezers, tartar scraper, scaler, probe and mirror.Like anything remotely medical and the fact that these are metal, you must take great care when using them.I do use a very well known make whitening toothpaste and it does a really good job of removing tartar anyway and I also use a cordless flosser and mouthwash, this kit fills anything not covered by those, but for me the mirror is the best tool, and the kit is worth it just for that item alone in my opinion.At £9.99 this kit is an absolute bargain.... 5 stars from me no problem !
