These make a nice smooth cut and based on the packaging and the spare parts, I think these must be high quality. I've only used them for a few weeks. The pruners cut through woody branches with little effort. They're comfortable to use also.Update: Now I have used my pruners a lot. They're excellent. Makes a nice clean cut, even on larger woody branches. I love that there is an extra blade and spring. I bought two more pair as gifts. These are sharp enough that I actually use them while open to whittle thorns and bumps off of branches. I know it's not the right way to use them, but it helps with flower arranging.

Being more expensive than many other pruning shears on Amazon I expected these to be real performers and they are; they are really sharp, solid quality, and easy to use. I didn't rate them them a five because I also purchased a $8.00 pair of pruning shears on the same order. I have used both pairs and although these cut easier, have a little more heft and quality and come with an extra blade and spring, I can't say that they are 500% percent better. I could buy 5 of the other shears for the cost of one of these. The others had good quality and cut very well too, so I deducted one star because I feel they are pricer than they should be. Time will tell if these are really that good. I hope they are.

I own a 25 acre commercial vineyard and tree farm, and these are hands down the best pruning shears I have ever used. I love them so much I bought a second one so that it’s available in the off chance I misplace the original. They sell a replacement blade (which I bought), but I’ve made an estimated 150k cuts and only had to file the blade once. The only downside is the thin wrapping on the handles has started to peel away. This is not really an issue because the handles are thick and still feel the same. If it were coated with a thick rubber (like on most pliers) then it would change the way it feels in your hand, but it’s not. Anyhow, get them, they are awesome!

I absolutely love these pruners. They stayed sharp and don’t fall apart. They even feel quality. Definitely worth buying. I’ve had them for a few years now and still love them

These pruners are great and really well made! I have lots of plants, flowers and small trees around my home. I regularly thin out dead branches and bushes as well. All of it to keep my garden healthy. These shears are very sharp and cut through all of it really easily. These are much better than the previous shears I had. They fit my hands well and my hands don't get tired fast. That was a big problem I had with the previous shears I owned. They feel very solid and durable. I did have to apply some pressure to lock them but it locks easier every time I do this. When locked it is locked very firmly which I like for safety reasons as small kids play in my garden often. I'm really happy with these gardening shears and highly recommend them!!
