Rainbow Dust Edible Food Paint Metallic Light Gold Cake Decorating Sugarcraft

I made an Arabian themed wedding cake for my wedding and needed edible gold paint for belly dancer chains and lattice. This worked great for me. I did two coats just to make sure, and the color came out very nice! It stayed on the cake well even with how hot it was (was in September and hit 90 at a point in the day). I would say that I would recommend this. I still have some left after using it multiple times and it's still working nicely!

I was skeptical that this product would be better than using gold dust mixed with Alcool (94% proof alcohol). I was pleasantly surprised to see that it brushed on smoothly and dried with a nice finish. Good product. I would recommend for smaller details on cakes and cookies. Because of the cost for the size of the bottle, it could get rather expensive if you wanted to paint a whole cake.

I used this to create “engagement ring” cookies. It took a few steps out of the normal process and went on smooth and shiny.
