Get these bands!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. These bands are great and have held up much better than my other bands. Normally the layers start to slowly strip off the bands after prolonged use. I have yet to notice that with these bands and good luck getting up to the black resistance band, which is INTENSE. Very high quality and makes for a very versatile tool for your gym kit. I use these to add tension or reduce tension on a given lift (i.e. make the top end harder or easier depending on the purpose of the lift). I also have used a carbiner to attach handles to these and they work great for curls and rehab related movements. In time the band compressing into your hand gets old and slightly painful.

1 Band
Make sure you know you are buying 1 band and not a setThe band itself looks good and I am pretty sure it works as advertised just the way the seller portraits a bunch of bands make seem to some people like me who don't bother to read all the details like more than one band.Edit: I bought this band from my mobile where the note about being a single band is not as visible as in a laptop/desktop. I was contacted by the seller and offered a thorough explanation which I think it speaks volume (in a positive way) of the seller. Most times its about we find a solution to the problem than the problem itself. Buy with confidence and read before you buy ;-)

Simple, reliable, and very satisfying to use compared to Planet Fitness gym
Contraband Sports has standardized the thickness of their bands at 4.0 mm. Most other brands have standardized their thickness at 4.5 mm. There was one other ( now defunct ) brand that that had a standard thickness of 3.5 mm.I ordered a pair of the orange loops for "reverse fly" (rear deltoid) exercise. I simply attached each via a simple hitch knot to a 2.5" dia steel column in my basement. The two columns are about 94" apart. So I simply stand midway between the columns, grasp the two elastic loops with my arms crossed, and then spread my arms apart. This exercise is done as 3 x 30 second sprint intervals at maximal intensity. There is a 45 second recovery interval between sprints. It is just a small part of a 50 minute muscle fatiguing, HR elevating, high power, anaerobic workout that I do on two consecutive days per week.I also obtained one of the purple loops, which I use for arm curls (biceps). I stand on the loop with feet about as far apart as my shoulder width. Then I grasp the loop with both hands at shoulder width. Although my intention for that loop is also a sprint intervals exercise, the purple loop is just a bit too difficult for me, so until I obtain another orange loop (of considerably lower elastic resistance), I must instead simply do a few sets of 3-6 reps each (which is a bit painful on my hands). So I will soon order a 3rd orange loop, as I don't wish to untie one of those from my basement columns, as they are dedicated for reverse fly exercise. It is very satisfying to use such simple equipment that works much smoother and ergonomical than the Life Fitness weight stack machines at my local Planet Fitness gym. I will soon be cancelling my membership there, as I now have 12 different exercises that I do at home via elastic resistance loops, bands, and tubing.

Not only versatile, but great quality too!
I ordered the blue resistance band for assisted pull-ups and occasional mobility work, and am pleased with the durability and function of it. The band is the right length to allow the proper stretch for pullups with only a little bit of monkeying to get a foot into it, but not so long that the assist fails as your reach the bottom of the eccentric portion of the movement. The only thing that would make the band better is if it had some sort of snap closure to wrap around it or carrying case/sleeve to put it in between uses, as it is just gets crazy in my gym bag if I don't fold it and rubber band it. I liked the blue band so much that I also purchased the orange band to perform banded face pulls with. I also found that the orange band is great for band pull aparts when warming up or supersetting!

***Amazing to assist you with pull-ups***
Contraband Sports 7419 Resistance Bands, Weight Lifting Bands, Powerlifting Bands, Pullup Bands, and Yoga Stretch Bands (#4 Blue, 41 inch) I do weightlifting for about 2 years but I wasn't capable to do pull-ups. I wasn't sure which band is the right for me and the chart with the different colors didn't helped me at all. I don't wanted to buy an item and when I get it, send it back because it isn't right for me. So I wrote to the customer service to get some help. Christopher helped me to find the right band. After he explained to me how to get the right band, I picked the blue one. I used it today and it is amazing. Now I can do pull-ups, too... YEAHHHHHThe customer service is incredible. I wish, we had more people like Christopher in customer service and if I could, I would give more ***. I hope the band will hold on a long, long time. Or maybe until I can do pull-ups without it. ;-)The only con is, I wish the band would come with a carry bag.

Very versatile and easy to use.
I use mine every time I go to the gym. They are so very versatile, come in different resistance strengths, and can be used for stretching and warm up exercises. They last and last without losing their stretch. I use mine for shoulder, arm and leg stretches. I believe that warming up and using these bands helps me to prevent injuries. It’s easy to find a lots of exercises for these bands on social media.

Contraband Sports resistance bands
I bought the band after a relative showed me how he uses it. I am still learning how to use it effectively within my exercise routine. This is a great and inexpensive band. The bright colors equal different strengths depending on whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or pro user. I bought the orange color because I’m new at this. Very sturdy.

Green band, high quality, great for workouts
I purchased the green resistance band because I already have and use ones equivalent to the blue band. I really liked this band from Contraband. It is very high quality and easy to work with, after several workouts it looks like it's unused so there are no signs of any quality issues.I would recommend the blue one the green for most people of you don't already have one of that resistance. I would use my blue bands for most exercises but the green is great for heavier ones.
