I have never slept better than how I sleep with the weighted blanket. It is finished well, the weight is well distributed and I love that it does not get too hot on warmer days. I have not washed the removable cover yet, but it seems well made so I have no concerns. The biggest problem for me is that now I never want to get out of bed!

I am a 5 foot 8 inch 162 lb adult male and purchased the 48"x72" Twin/Single blanket. It has worked great for me and is just the right size and weight. I always seem to be cold so I liked the warmth it provided. It came in a plastic case with handles which I was glad to have, since we travel a lot and it made it easier to carry. But the plastic case was not very durable and has ripped where the handles attach. Other than the poor case construction, it is fantastic and helps me sleep. I feel bad about docking it one star, as this may not be important for most people

Picked this up earlier today and attempted to unzip and wash cover before use. Was unable to unzip the weighted potion of the blanket completely, looks like the cover was sewn into the zipper causing the zipper to get stuck. Also a separate portion of the zipper looks like it was already separating from the blanket itself. The weight feels good, but if I can’t unzip it to wash then it’s going back.

I love the weight of it (this was my first try with a weighted blanket) but it’s unbearably hot unless my room is really cold. The weight doesn’t stay even as the blanket slips and sort of bunches inside the cover, which would be okay if it weren’t weighted, but picking it up to shake it out and redistribute everything is difficult. And last but not least, the stitching is coming undone on the cover. I haven’t even had it 2 months and haven’t washed it yet. Would not buy again, but I will go in search of another brand because it does help my chronic insomnia. I hope one of the cooling ones will be a better fit.

I bought a cheaper one first and the weight was just hard to center all the time. This is exactly how I imagined the blanket to be, a uniform weight that slide it's weight around. It's expensive and I tried buying the less expensive but you really can't if you want a hassle frr weight blanket. She is 130 and bought the 15 pd which was a good weighted for her. Doesn't make her hot so I think it can be used most of the year.
