Prevents and controls SI joint flare-ups
I bought this item after having increased problems with my sacro-iliac joint. I was having episodes of pain every other day on average, and I needed relief. I read the reviews for this belt and although it cost more than some other belts intended for SI pain, it looked worth a try. I've been wearing it continuously since I bought it and it has made a huge difference. I'm having pain much less often, and the belt has been controlling the pain once it starts, enabling me to function normally. Previously a pain flare-up would immobilize me for the rest of the day, since activity makes it worse. This belt has been a total game-changer.

Great for pregnancy
I bought the Serola after trying a few knockoff cheap brands in previous pregnancies and being unsatisfied. This time my pelvic floor PT said she recommended the brand name Serola because it was worth it, so I gave it a shot since I really wanted to avoid the severe symphasis pubis inflammation I’d experienced before. Apparently the trick is to never let the pain get that bad in the first place if you I can help it. So I started wearing it at fifteen weeks pregnant and have been using it for two weeks now. At first I found the belt very uncomfortable, but once I learned to wear it correctly I’ve been delighted. It’s not bulky at all and is easily hidden under dresses and flowy tops, and I find it very adjustable for however much compression I need. I haven’t had any issues with the belt moving, it stays in place really well. I can do weightlifting workouts without comprising my form and even go on family walks for two hours at a time without that excruciating low back and symphasis pain. Combined with doing my stabilization exercises, and icing painful areas after exertion, I think this thing could really help get me through staying active while managing pelvic girdle pain for the remainder of the pregnancy.

This product changed my life (Ehlers Danlos issues)
I bought this belt over 2 years ago and haven't stopped wearing it (it's got some threads coming out, but works just fine). During these 2 years, I never thought to leave a review. But I am SO glad I gave this belt a try. I want to tell everybody with back pain, especially if you have hypermobility/Ehlers Danlos, like me - this could change your life. I have a lot of instability in my body, including my SI joints. After pregnancy I could not stand for more than 5 minutes without horrible pain and my leg going numb. This belt keeps my SI joints from sliding around too much. At first, when I bought it, I gave up on it, because I didn't know how to properly secure it. But after I figured it out, I gained so much stability. My back pain slowly lessened and is now a lot better most days. I am able to be upright/go for walks, grocery shopping, etc. without excruciating pain. When I do feel pain, it's also more localized to my SI joints, instead of being spread all over my lower back. I definitely notice more pain when I don't wear it for a couple hours when standing or sitting. It does feel like it's digging into my skin a little sometimes, but I just adjust it and it's not a big deal to me as long as it helps my back pain. Also, make sure it's not too tight (it might be if your hips start to ache). As long as it's on correctly, I usually don't even notice that it's on. I want to say huge thank you to the people that make and sell this belt!

Good Product - Brings Relief
I injured both sacral joints in horse falls years ago; and, the right joint has been getting worse so I purchased this belt. The medium was a little big in the beginning, but it helped the pain immediately - well, almost immediately - because, at first, the joint was so inflamed it hurt to put the belt on. But, within a day or so, the pain went away. Joint stability returned and I could lift things again. Most importantly, I wasn’t falling anymore (which only made the situation worse). I should have gotten a small because now it has stretched out and it entirely too big. Have to get another. If you have this problem, you should also get an inversion table. When I put the two together - relief! My spine is now staying in the proper position - not sinking into the pelvis. Expensive answer, but surgery won’t fix this issue and - do the crime, do the time.

Game changer for stabilizing the pelvic area
So impressed with this belt. My issue is overstretched ligaments on the SI joint. I teach yoga so just about any pose strains those ligaments in their current state. It was just a vicious cycle, trying to avoid some poses, resting longer periods between classes, just never went away. The dull, aching pain would keep me up at night, tossing and turning to get comfortable. Not even using a pillow between my knees helped. I tried a different brand. It certainly helped a lot but it would only stay in place when sitting or walking around. The Serola belt is a game changer. I can wear it all night. No allergic reaction on my skin. It doesn’t catch on the sheets when I turn over and stays in place all night. It’s easy to put on and adjust. I left it on during yoga class yesterday and it never moved, no matter what pose I was in. Same again today. I am so grateful to have found this belt. I feel I have a chance now to heal over time as the belt stabilizes the pelvic area and allows my ligaments to shrink back to normal. Thank you!

Best Belt Ever
This belt is amazing! My chiropractor recommended I purchase it and it has saved my joint. I highly recommend this belt to anyone with sacroiliac issues. It fits well under clothes and prevents my joint from slipping!

Just okay
Great concept and helps some. Not super impressed with support and maybe materials. Plus, the plastic is causing me to have itching over hips, which makes me wonder what’s in it? Maybe needs stronger materials with less plastic.

Works well
As long as you wear it, it works to decrease pain. You will want to wear it every day. Sometimes I wear it to sleep, too. If you forget to put it on one day, you will know that the belt is making a difference when you feel the return of that familiar ache and pain in your low back. Yes, it can be a bit of nuisance when you need to re-adjust it during the day, but you learn to get past that annoyance. When my doctor first suggested a belt during our initial video (online) visit, it was a different brand that was much wider than this belt, and it was more like a low back brace and more of a hassle to deal with. But when I met him in person for the first time about a month later, he saw my height and weight up close and said because of my build, I'd be better off with a less-wide belt and suggested this one. I like this one a lot better, it is more comfortable and easier to adjust. As far as sizing, with a hip size of 37" the medium works well. When I went to order it, the medium was out of stock, and I didn't want to wait but I also didn't want to order small or large and have to return it. Fortunately I only had to wait a week or two, and nowthat I've worn it for about a month, I appreciate the difference it's made for me. Based on experience, I also know it's a necessity for me to wear it every day. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful thing!
I took this belt with free delivery to The Netherlands and of course I'm happy with this. But if you have a convex buttocks - it's a bit problem to fix the belt on a right position. But any way belt is quite convenient and really fixes sacroiliac joint! People wrote here that can sleep with it but I took it off during the sleep and for me is more convenient to wear it through the day and I feel effect even just of it.

Love it! Works perfectly, comfortable, hides under my clothing, was worried about it slipping but as long as you wear it correctly it stays without sliding around. with this belt and my stretching plan I can happily walk the dog for an hour without pain!

Really great for pain relief
Following an injury to my right hip nearly two years ago, my left hip became incredibly painful as, try as I might not to overload the uninjured side, it’s inevitable. My pelvis keeps tilting due to posture adjustment and stresses the sacroiliac joint causing an immense amount of pain. I wasn’t even able to sleep properly. After repeated visits to the osteopath and a large amount of money spent, I found these. This belt supports my pelvis and enables me to sit, walk, stand and most importantly for my mental health, continue with my physio and some of my fitness regime. On a bad day, I even wear it to sleep. It’s easy to fit and there are innumerable Youtube videos if you’re having trouble. I don’t always have it at the same tension, sometimes I need more support than others. I did consider the cheaper options available but decided in the bigger scheme of things, my health was worth the extra cost and went for the product that is recommended by professionals. I now have two of these so I always have a clean one. I’ve had these three months now and these things have made life tolerable whilst I wait for treatment on the other hip. The Velcro is incredibly strong and is still showing no signs of wear and tear. When washing, I have the belt loosely done up so all the Velcro is connected, put it in a washing bag so it doesn’t come into contact with anything else and wash without fabric softener. This is easy for me as I never wash any of my gym clothing with fabric softener as I find that fabric softener seems to hold the sweat smell in. All in all, I highly recommend these. If you are in pain, it's worth every penny.
