Brilliant for a magnetic spice jar wall I made using 3 magnets per jar (2 would have been enough to hold but 3rd means they ain't going anywhere, even if nudged). Stuck on using gorilla glue steel bond epoxy, only needed a tiny dab of it. I then coated them in a porcelain paint I had spare as that's a good safe layer to protect the spices.

Zwar haften die Magneten sehr gut, allerdings sind mittlerweile von 52 Magneten nur noch 10 übrig- und die werden wohl auch nicht mehr lange halten. Ein UNDING! Die Magnete zerspringen in zig Teile, hinterlassen scharfe Kanten und die Beschichtung platzt auch ab. Geht gar nicht! Kann ich niemandem empfehlen! Da kann man sein Geld auch direkt in die Tonne schmeißen...

These magnets were purchased for a minor emergency. Following a mad cleaning spree scrubbing the rings on my cooker top I managed to get a tiny thread of wire wool embedded in my finger. It was invisible but my god.... the pain! I picked and poked but could not find the source of the pain. My child said “what we need is a really strong magnet!” Straight to Amazon, a few quid spent and next day delivery....Within 5 minutes of arrival these powerful beasts had gently removed the microscopic metal from my finger, relief was instant, saved me from a trip to docs and are now being used for various other jobs!

Ich habe mir vor einer Weile eine Glasmagnettafel bestellt. Die Tafel ist wirklich klasse. Allerdings waren im Lieferumfang nur 5 Magnete enthalten. Also habe ich mir völlig unbedarft Magnete über Amazon bestellt. Als die Magnete angekommen sind, musste ich feststellen das diese überhaupt nicht gehalten haben. Ich habe es auf die Qualität der Magnete geschoben und mir einfach andere bestellt. Doch auch die haben nicht gehalten. Etwas irritiert aber voller Zuversicht, dass auch deren Qualität ebenfalls nicht so gut ist, bin ich dann in einen Laden gegangen und habe mir dort Magnete gekauft. Aber auch diese haben nicht gehalten. Dann war mir klar, dass es an der Tafel liegen muss und der Magnetismus durch das dicke Glas gehemmt wird. Ich habe ewig hin und her recherchiert und bei allen Magneten bzw. in deren Rezensionen immer mal wider gelesen, dass sie zwar gut sind aber an Glasmagnettafeln nicht halten - auch bei diesen Magneten. Allerdings haben mich die positiven Bewertungen dieser Magnet dann doch überzeugt. Also habe ich sie dann doch bestellt.Die Magnete kamen super schnell bei mir an und machen optisch einen gut verarbeiteten Eindruck.Sie halten bombenfest! Und was ich noch erstaunlicher finde, sie sind sogar so stark, dass sie durch eine komplett Hand hindurch halten. Ich bin absolut begeistert und mehr als überzeugt. Jeder der mir sagt, dass diese Magneten nicht halten, muss lügen. Es kann nicht sein, dass sie nicht halten - außer man versucht es mit nicht-magnetischen Gegenständen 😂.Auch die Größe der Magneten ist wirklich angenehm und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt.Alles in allem bin ich super zufrieden und würde die Magneten auch jederzeit wieder kaufen und/oder weiterempfehlen! Selten war ich so begeistert von einem so einfachen Produkt. Was vielleicht auch ein bisschen daran liegt, dass ich endlich Magnete gefunden habe, die halten 😂.Nachteile konnte ich bisher nicht feststellen.

My first attempt using suckers was a complete pain to put in place and kept sagging/falling off.For version 2, I found these useful CarShade window panels which are custom shaped for your car. Its a mesh panel for each window, and I drew around the onto blackout curtain fabric for the outside and a prettier fabric for the inside (both from Ikea - cheaper to get curtains and a duvet cover than buy the fabric elsewhere!) The edges were careful pinned around the curves with bias tape then sewn on my machine, folded over and sewn down again (see youtube for a proper explanation!)I left a small section open to slide the magnets in, tested the best location for them and then hand-sewed them into place. I needed to double them up for the side windows and triple them for the rear tailgate. It works really well though, much quicker to put in place and the magnets grip well onto the wire inside the CarShades. There is a complete blackout perfect for stealth camping in my micro camper (Ford Tourneo Connect Grand). I also created a cab curtain with a split down the centre; gluing a steel bar to the plastic overhead cupboard above the cab which the magnets inside the curtain can affix to.These are serving their purpose perfectly! Remember if they aren't strong enough for your use, you don't necessarily need to buy thicker ones, just double or triple them up!
