I put them in my hair when it has been washed and almost dry for an hour or two to give my hair a bit of body. This is if I am at home obviously. Please note they are irresistible to golden retrievers especially the pink ones and if you are not vigilant a trail of pink foam will be strewn along the landing leading to the culprit.

Fastener constantly opens. Took me about half an hour to put them in as had to constantly re attach plastic fastener. Waste of money.
