High Voltage! (Marvel: Spider-Man) (Little Golden Book)

I bought this book for my grandson's upcoming visit and he absolutely loved it. His visit was a week and every night I was requested to read the book twice, every night. The illustrations were vibrant, the story easy to follow and just long enough to keep his attention.

Fun book & story

This is a dynamic story of the ancient story of good versus evil in a alter universe containing pseudo science and super powered beings... It's Spiderman Comics in a hard cover, thick paper edition. It's rather enjoyable to read with a grandchild, filled with wonder about the world and the limits of imagination. Golden Books did a great thing with the art work and colors... the whole system draws the kids to read and dream. You still remember how to do that...

Good Lord, I had to read this book every day for a month! My 3-year-old LOVES Spiderman, and the plot is easy for him to follow, not terribly violent, and is engaging. He loves pretending to web shoot Electro, and it's a quick enough read at the end of an exhausting work day.

Pretty good Spider man story.

We saw a video of our grandsons opening their Valentine's gifts. Our 5 year old said, "This is unbelievable" when he saw this. He was thrilled.

My son is a fan. He’s almost 3 and he also likes playing with the Duplo Lego spiderman

My son adores spiderman, like his mom did as a child/teen. Really love how this is a 'story' and not another introduction to characters. Hate buying children's books about superheroes for there to be no actual story, superheroes are all about the various battles with evil/wrong doers - they need all the stories!

My 6 year old son is obsessed with Spiderman so we've started to collect the books for us to read together at bedtime. I'll probably know it off by heart within the week. I've marked it as easy reading for the level he is at at the minute, however others might find it easier or more difficult.

Obsessed with this brand of books for my 3yr old son and 7yr old daughter. Not only are the prices amazing, but the stories are good too and the illustrations are great too. They also do a wide range of themes such as Marvel, Disney, etc. We personally love them and have a huge collection.

This first of all is a gift.It is in book form that I remember from my childhood and I'm soon to be 71!! BEAUTIFUL SET.
