I bought this to help me cut fins off of fish for fishing. This is a well-made, sturdy, and reliable pair of cutting shears! My wife actually stole it from me to cut the turkey breast this past Thanksgiving. It worked great there as well. Sooo...looks like I'm going to buy a second pair so she stops stealing mine. I wish it came with a sheath of some kind so I don't have to fabricate my own.

These poultry shears were recommended by someone I know at the meat counter at my local grocery store. I like to make spatchcock chicken and turkey but I hate removing the backbone. These shears get the job done. They are quality steal, are spring loaded and operate smoothly, and have a good latching mechanism. The length of the cutting area is 3-1/2”. Do NOT put these in the dishwasher. Wash them in hot soapy water and dry immediately. I took off one star because the packaging says a leather sheath is included but I did not get one.

Cool design concept, sharp blades but the handles are unwieldy. I had to buy my wife scissors with more normal handles.

These two scissors are such a great find! They are sharp and cut through chicken joints well. They are also good for spatchcock chicken. They will cut through the bones with relative ease. Last, but not least, they look well made and are comfortable for old hands.

Bought 3 pairs on sale. Amazing tool. Use for chicken butchering and it is great to make the bird smaller.
