Great, SHARP Blade, BEST PRICE too!!!
This was the best price I found and just used it on my little Pomeranian which has a very wooly undercoat and my older Blade was so dull and it took me so much time to clip her, but this new blade made the job go SOOoooo much faster which was so much better for both myself and my little Sophie!!! This is the BEST PRICE out there for this blade - believe me I have shopped for hours to find the best price. NOW, I won't have to wait so long to get a new blade as this won't break the bank!!

Good blade
I have three American Cocker Spaniels and groom them myself. The Wahl clipper and this blade work well for faces and light-to-medium coats. It is convenient to be able to adjust the blade lengths on this clipper using this one blade. One of my dogs has a very heavy coat, and I've had to switch to a more heavy-duty clipper for his body, but the Wahl clipper and blade are good for his face and feet.

Great for home groomers and large curly poodles
I have tried several of the 5-in-1 blades, including fine and black, etc., but have found this 'course' blade to be perfect for how we groom our 75 lb standard poodle (with a very dense, tight curly coat). The blade is 'short enough' without scalping for trimming face and feet, and the other blade lengths work for his neck, head, belly, torso, rear, ears, etc.IMO, this blade would also do well for large doodles ... for that informal 'natural' look as opposed to a harsh outline/scalping trip. It is less intimidating and does not nick the dog easily .... so where coat maintenance and keeping feet & eyes clean is the goal, for the novice or 'casual' poodle owner ... this is great! Just my opinion. If you keep this blade cleaned and oiled, during trimming and after, it lasts almost a year (twice a month grooming and trimming -- so one blade and the oil cost is a whole lot less cost than going to a groomer! ). Note: we do NOT do a blow-out or fancy comb-out ... our guy is trimmed to various lengths and the curls do what they may ... we prefer that to the 'finger-in-the-socket' poofy stuff, for ease of care and great cost savings.

Blades won't cut coarse hair
I bought a Wahl Chromado Lithium trimmer for my Goldendoodle. It came with a fine blade which didn't cut his hair. I thought I just needed a different blade so I bought a coarse blade which is no better. This coarse blade is brand new & sold for coarse hair. It did not perform any better than the fine blade and is worthless as a grooming tool. It does not cut his hair and the teeth jam and get stuck on the hair. It arrived brand new and I have oiled it every time I used it.
