Sharp Blade Cutter Head for WBT-1 Electric Fabric Scissors Cloth Cutter (Cutter Head A)

My wife has some arthritis and loves to sew denim recycling projects. She is frequently cutting very heavy fabric and across multiple layers of fabric. She tried a moderately priced electric scissors and simply could not stand the vibration. It aggravated her arthritis as much as working the manual scissors.She did not want to spend this much for electric scissors and even when I put it in her hand she was shaking her head "NOPE...not going to pay this much." She cut thru some thick material that she was intending to cut anyway. Before she finished, she started smiling. At the end of the cut she put the new WBT-1 scissors down on the other side of her: not my side. I ask "Is it a keeper?" She dryly said "It's a keeper." She has been using them everyday for the last 3 weeks and still has not had to replace the battery: but the replacement is charged and ready. She loves it now so I don't think I could get it away from her.

I just love these scissors. What's not to like (I know, pricey but worth it). They came with a charge up battery, plug in wire, 2 scissors "heads", a cleaning brush and a user manual (no need to go on-line). Been using them for cutting fabrics for Christmas presents I'm making and wrapping paper. No problem. And my hands don't get achy like holding regular scissors. Gonna try them on some of those packs that are held in by plastic that are near impossible to open. Bet it works!

We use these scissors cutting stacks of fleece fabrics …What a Wonderful tool — I make tie blankets for There With Care, Children with critical illnesses. I use it to cut cardboard boxes and it does a stellar job. It can be operated with a battery or directly plugged in. Worth it.

While this is expensive, the convenience of 2 batteries, and smooth operation are worth it. This baby cuts through 8 layers of quilting cotton or interfacing and the cuts are accurate way beyond what I could have produced with regular scissors. Great time saver when making masks or bibs in quantity. In addition, it not not as noisy as my hair dryer. Best sewing purchase I have ever made, after my sewing machine, of course.

The media could not be loaded.  I kept seeing my local Jo Anns using them and after debating purchasing these for almost a year I final got broke down and got them. I absolutely love these and hate that I waited so long. They cut through thick fabric and leather like butter.
