Wholesale Chess Quality Chess Scorebook - SkyBlue

Flimsy but useable.
This lacks a cardboard backer and thicker cover. It gets the job done in a pinch, but probably won’t hold up for 50 games going in and out of a backpack or handbag. If your not traveling with it, or using it as a “re-entry” log, it’s okay.

Construction Quality isn't Great
Two negatives in my view are 1. There is only a paper back, not cardboard, so you must use the table to write with - taking up space in front of you. 2. The spiral binding is too tight, so flipping through the notebook is not terribly easy. Per Amazon's seller requirements, it does come in plastic wrapping that's really easy to open, so packaging wasn't an issue and won't be for you, either.

Great, inexpesive product
My 10-year-old son goes to chess tournaments regularly, and we buy these all the time. They have never fallen apart. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. It's a great, inexpensive option, they don't take up a lot of storage space, and he can refer back to his games when needed.

Not quality
For the price of 1 notebook, I expected better quality. This notebook is not only flimsy, but the spiral binding is too small, making the pages tough to turn. You can get 5 of the same books for roughly the same price here: https://www.amazon.com/Set-Chess-Scorebooks-Notation-Pads/dp/B00EDP7YM0The spirals there are at least large enough that the pages turn easily. If I had to do it over again, I would order neither this nor the 5 pack of spiral bound notebooks and just go straight to the hard bound books. Unless you're blowing through these with hundreds of games, might as well get a notebook that is easier and more pleasant to use for 1 dollar more.
