The Most Comprehensive Book I've Ever Read
I was looking forward to this book since I day I read the last page of his first book on the Moody Blues, and, Marc Cushman did not disappoint! Excellent! He's included treasured details from where he left off, to the ending of their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, and, all points in between. Every album, countless quotes from band members over the years, reviews of their shows and albums, it's all here, fans! I could not put this book down, with so much information on the Moodies that kept me captivated! The only thing that I found wrong was that the "The Other Side Of Life" and "Sur La Mur" did not receive gold records, according to the organization RIAA, which keeps track of actual sales of records....maybe they received gold records of these LPs from other countries, but, not in the U.S. Other than that small detail, I highly, highly recommend this book for any Moody Blues fan. You will not be disappointed!

Finally Volume 2
I had been searching for a biography of the Moody Blues for quite sometime before I recently discovered volume 1 of this 2 volume set. So far I am about half way through the first book which I have found to be remarkably in depth. Needless to say I was excited when this second book was released and know it will be just as good. It is an excellent addition to any Moody Blues collector.

A Moody Blues Encyclopedia Part 2
This is a thick book with a lot of details documenting the Moody Blues. If you love the group, you will be interested in their chronicles featuring first-person interviews from the members of the band.

Must-Have for all serious Moodies fans
I only wish this was in matching hardback like vol.1. Written exactly like vol. 1, this book is about the same length, 700 pages or so, and continues the story where vol. 1 left off. I'm about halfway through it now and it puts you right there with the Magnificent Moodies.

Cover is badly bent!
4 Sars to yhe book and that's because they didn't make it a hard cover.. I'm sure the Books Contents are what I expect since it's the 2nd Vol. And I love anything I can get of the MOODY BLUES. BUT, a paperback book, the only kind available of thus book,, should be protected with at least decent packing (not loose as it was) or shrinkwrap.

Very detailed, great for serious Moodies fans
This book is a very detailed history, as you might guess from its length. It includes a lot of interview excerpts and music reviews. Not for the casual fan but I’m loving it.

Grreat second volume of the Moody Blues story..!
A brilliantly meticulous well-researched book..Marc Cushman pulls out all the stops again & the perfect followup to 'Long Distance Voyagers Volume 1'..highly recommended for Moody Blues fans &/or any music fan for its in-depth coverage on one of the (still) most underrated 60's British bands..

Long Distance Voyagers: The Story of the Moody Blues Volume 2
It's a fantastic book & a must-have if you are a Moody Blues fan. I also have the first volume, & they are both large books with plenty of information about the band, their songs & tours. I highly recommend both books.
