Vibrating Teethers™ (Strawberry or Grape)

I ordered the Infantino Vibrating Teether for my horrible teething tot. She has been in so much pain for the last week. I was desperate for something that will help her achy sore mouth. I ordered the strawberry teether but received the grape teether. It didn’t matter to me which one I got. The initial posting does say “Styles may vary”, but you are able to select a teether at checkout. However, this was a win for me as they sent me the more expensive of the two. This teether is made of a rubber material. The grapes form “bumps” of rubber which are easy to chew on and I believe are helping her relieve her pain. This item appears to have a battery pack although I haven’t unscrewed that part to check. It comes preloaded with batteries and is instantly ready to be used by your tot. It has a green “stem” handle making it easily held by those little fingers. There is a lady bug that flips around in the middle of the stem handle. I believe this is just a neat addition and toy for the child. I highly suggest this to anyone with a little who is struggling. I give this product five stars.

One of my friends gave me one of these and my children have loved them. They vibrate when the child bites them end which is great for teething!

My granddaughter loves the strawberry teething toy. She can't wait to play with it. The packaging was great, because you could turn the toy on to see how it worked. Outstanding item.

My little one loves this! We got the grapes and she is able to hold it on her own and activate the vibration when she bites on it. Easy to wipe clean. Great idea for littles 6 months and up.

When I first unpacked this teether, I thought it was an, ahem, personal massager. It is much bigger than I expected, almost as large as my hand. How is my baby supposed to teethe on this, I thought..... The red part of the strawberry vibrates when pressure is applied to it, and it's made of a soft rubber. The green handle is plastic. There are no switches, and the batteries are already inside. I gave it to the baby and it actually worked quite well, when he started biting on it. This type of teether was recommended to us by a friend, who is a pediatric speech therapist. Overall, happy with this purchase.

I bought two of these not knowing which I'd get. Thankfully, they sent me one of each (I really wanted the grape for my baby boy). The grape works awesome, it's very sensitive and it's not hard for my 5 month old to activate it. The vibration is not too strong and he seems to like it. The strawberry was a disappointment. It was pretty much dead, apart from one spot in the center and one (hard to find) on one side, high, by the green plastic, that would activate the vibrations. We thought it could be the battery issue, but after changing the battery, it was still the same. There's no way a baby could find and activate those spots with his gums. He would pretty much have to put half of the strawberry in his mouth for that, and this thing ain't small. So, strawberry would get one star, but the grape works so well that I can't give just one star with clear conscious. I wish there was a way to order from this seller a particular teether (Baby Heaven sells them by item, but charge very high shipping cost for military APO addresses), as I would definitely buy more grape teethers for my friends. They make a great baby gift.
