When I received this reel I got a right handed retrieve handle! I sent a message regarding the issue and was given a replacement right away! I sent this one back to the seller! I have no problems with the other one! Great quality and weightless ! Great reel for a great value! Can't wait to use it! Great color and very smooth!

I will update my review when I get to try it out. My first impression is that it looks good even though I ordered the Black and Green and received a Black and Red which is why I give 4 stars instead of 5. UPDATE: First time I have taken it out and it fails after a half hour, the spool release button would not release. So when I got home I took it apart and discovered a lot more plastic inside than what their picture shows. I was unable to fully correct the problem but it will at least cast now, you have to manually push the spool release button back up to reel in the line as it won't do it on its own when you crank the handle. I was warned not to buy a cheap reel, but I took the chance anyway. Won't happen again, so after full evaluation I recommend paying more so that you don't wind up with junk. I will buy a different reel but not this cheap.

Was a little worried about purchasing this real when some of the reviewers said it didn’t last very long. I bought this right before a fishing trip with my buddies used it for four days fishing all day long and it worked perfectly excellent real.

Works as well as a cheap reel should. Not going to get the perfect cast, might back lash a bit but it’s all good. Great first bait caster if you want to learn to cast and fish with a bait caster. Beware if it is your first caster make sure you dial it in properly or the back lashes will be endless and your cast will only go 20 ft
