Great fun!
My granddaughter received this for her 11th birthday. She was thrilled to start putting it together. It took a little time to figure out the instructions. But once she got it started there was smooth sailing. I would recommend this product and would buy it again.

Challenge project
This is great Gift for 10+ boys. He likes it very much. there are many tiny parts, so kids need to self-motivated, focus and pay attention to details. it needs long time to study and install, but he will feel much proud when finishing the project. Now name your own robotic buddy.

Mechanics in motion
This was supposed to be a father-son project ended up being a family project. We enjoyed going outside adjusting the solar panel waiting for clouds to pass and then watching our creation move! The instructions strongly recommend keeping the pieces organized and I agree with that makes it easier to make new builds. As you can only build one thing at a time.He did try to use a light bulb shining on the PV panel. We only had LED and Compact Fluorescent Bulbs.... They didn't really work no matter how high of the equivalent wattage rating we went. Think I had one bulb that was equivalent to a 100 w incandescent. Never did try an incandescent bulb I wonder if that would work better
