So don't expect this to melt and be silky smooth - even w the addition of vegetable oil. Definitely thicker than I wanted, but I still made it work. Easy to add food coloring to and make whatever color you need.

Easier to use/melt than the brand purchased at Michaels. Used to make white chocolate thin pretzels with peppermint for holidays.

So incredibly disappointed. I tries using this twice because the first time I got so frustrated I gave up. The first time I tried to use it, I used the microwave method and zapped it the first time for 20 seconds and then 10 second intervals with stirring in between and it immediately seized up. It never ever melted. I gave up because I didn't have any vegetable oil or shortening to add to it thinking that would help.The 2nd time I tried to use it, I first started in the microwave just as before same method only this time I added about a tbsp of veg oil. Again, it never melted! So I decided to try a double boiler. After 30min of stirring and adding a little veg oil at a time...nothing! It just turned into a buttercream frosting consistency. If I wanted that consistency I would have made buttercream frosting! I needed it to melt so I could pour it or at the very least dip my cookies into it.

The taste of these melts is real, smooth white chocolate. The consistency is exactly what is needed for dipping...drippy when melted but dries hard and levels out without smoothing. I ran out and had to run to Joanns to get a replacement and could immediately tell the difference. The Joanns brand was more like whipped cake frosting when melted. That doesn't work for dipping but Cambie did. I am a fan!!

It’s not real chocolate but it’s just a sweet. Perfect for melting, I’m sure that’s what most people are looking to buy it for. I don’t recommend eating the whole bag at once it might upset your tummy. Definitely not speaking from experience or anything

This product does not melt. I was trying to make peppermint bark and had it heating in a double boiler for 25 minutes and it was still the consistency of putty. Will not spread or melt, as white chocolate should. Not sure what all these positive reviews about it melting perfect are because this product is crap.
