We initially purchased this for a fun resin experiment. We sprayed some hair spray into a mold, then mushed in the mica powder (which was rejected by the spray), and then mixed a different powder in with some clear UV resin. The results were... well... my UV resin wasn't properly sealed, so it had yellowed lol. But we tried again with some fresh resin, and that turned out fine, and my kids like mixing it with glue that dries clear for arts and crafts, and my daughter is starting to experiment mixing it in with nail polish.The effect works best when it is on a perfectly flat surface, but it has looked pretty neat with everything we have tried it on!

As far as the product itself, it seems fine. These are the first mica powders I’ve worked with. Only reason for 4 stars is bc it arrived with quite a bit of it spilled out which made a huge mess and lost product. Even ones that didn’t spill were only halfway filled where others were filled all the way.

These are amazing when brushed in your mold and then black resin is poured over it. Fantastic results.

Small container but they go a long way. I f you back paint your molds you don't need much at all. Works very well.

I found a tiny measuring spoon to scoop the powder out without spilling or getting too much product out. I use this with acrylic paint and mixed with acrylic medium to capture the glimmering light effect that I see on a misty morning, and the way that the sunlight plays with clouds. I also use it straight as a top dusting over eye shadow. I can't wait to use this as costume makeup for Halloween.
