Works, but can be better.
The LTM to M43 adapter works, but it's not a premium product, and for the money you pay it honestly should be better. First thing first, the threads work, and it does click into your M43 camera nicely -- the Leica M39 mount is just a screw on mount, so this adapter is really just a spacer to set the lens at a proper distance from your camera's sensor, a glorified washer if you will, and really should not be that difficult to make. Yet it's made in two parts - a silver inner ring that connects to your M39 lens, and a black outer ring connecting to the M43 body. The two rings are held together by 3 minuscule screws, the adapter I got used 0.035 hex screws. The reason that's important is because the 2 rings came misaligned - if you mount the lens onto the camera body, the lens would be upside down - all the markings for focus and aperture would be on the bottom. Fotasy (the maker of this adapter) knows the problem and ships the adapter with a tiny piece of cut out paper stating you need to unscrew the screws and realign the two rings. This just strikes me as LAZY - it's a well known problem, yet they are not willing to fix it during production and instead shifts the burden to the buyer. Even worse, because the screws used on these adapters are not always the same, the paper does not tell you what kind of screw driver you'll need. The amount of time trying to find that info and locating a correctly sized wrench adds to the cost of this adapter.Over all, I made it work and now the mount works as advertised, but I will never purchase anything from Fotasy again. Being cheap is not an excuse to be both lazy and careless.

Very well made.
The adapter mounted easily and perfectly to my Lumix GH3 and the LTM lens I wanted to use (Industar 61) screwed intyo the mount jast as it should. Toasy provides a little Allen wrench to make any adjustment to the align the mounted lens with the center of the lens mount if needed. The quality of this adapter is well above what I expected, given the very modest price. Please understand that this mount is fully manual. Thee is no auto focus or lens-based stabilization possible. By setting exposure mode to A or M, you adjust exposure using the camera’s shiutter control and/or the f-stop ring on your lens.

Can't beat the price (with a minor caveat)
I bought this adapter so I could use vintage Voigtlander and Leica lenses with my OMD EM5 micro four thirds camera. The adapter is rugged and very, very easy to install. However, it has a well-known production flaw. The machines in the assembly line left the screw thread turned 180 degrees (so that all the numbers on your lens will be looking down). This is very easy to fix. All you need to do is:1. Remove adapter from camera and lens.2. find/get a very, very small (the tiny one) flat head screw driver.3. On a well lit area, look for three tiny screws on the outside of the adapter.4. Loosen all three, however, try not to take them out completely so you don't lose them.5. Have the "L39-M43" text face you.6. With your fingers in the inner metal ring, carefully rotate it half a spin (180 deg or thereabouts).7. Secure all three screws and double check there's no wiggle in the inner metal thread ring.8. Done.

High quality, low price -- doesn't get any better...
I had a screw-thread Leica 50mm f2 Summitar from my dad's old Leica iiic and after reading about others using the same lens on the micro 4/3 cameras with an adapter, I found this one and ordered it. I ordered it on a Monday and it came in on the following Saturday. The finish and quality were much better than I expected for the price. In the online photo, the black finish looks almost like plastic, but actually is very nicely finished metal. I could find no flaws in finish or manufacturing. The old lens screwed in smoothly. The mount went on my E-PL2 as smoothly as the kit lens, and had no wobble or looseness. Trial photos showed proper focus, et al.I can't say enough -- why pay more for a name brand when this does the trick? Now that I know I can find an inexpensive, well-made adapter, I'll start keeping my eyes out for other legacy glass, knowing a can get a good adapter.

Works as well as more expensive options.
I have three of these now, one attached to a Jupiter 8 50mm, one to an Elmar 90mm, and one to a Jupiter 11 135mm. All of them work extremely well, and the build quality is quite good. For the price I recommend ordering one for each lens and leaving them permanently attached. This is really quite a bargain, and I have been very pleased with mine. The oldest is several years old at this point, and still works perfectly.
