EXCELLENT PRODUCT.. UPDATE.....I ordered this product because i love to 🔥 🕯. When i received my item i tried it one time and fell so in love with it i immediately purchased another fir my parents. They love it as well. I see 🎁 in the future. Ps.. and mine was fully charged so i didnt have to charge it, on the other hand my parents had to charge theirs...no deal breaker....i was juat lucky i guess...UPDATE..... After having this lighter which i thought was excellent, I could not charge it, it will not charge and it keeps cutting off..i would return it but the return window is closed... not worth it if you can not recharge it

My wife ordered this because my disposable grill lighter ran out. First thing I tried was to light a cigarette... after a couple tries about a quarter of it was lit, it's tough to get anything bigger than a candle wick in between the contacts. The second thing I tried was to light the gas grill. Bend the lighter to get up under the heat deflector, push the igniter then turn on the gas... 1...2...3... BOOM!Well I guess I didn't need that hair on my knuckles anyways :)LAST TRY I'll use it to light the fireplace (wood burning) Like I said, it's tough to get anything much bigger than a candle wick in contact with the "flame" so it makes even lighting a piece of paper a challenge.All in all I would consider this to be nothing more than a candle lighter, so if you burn a lot of candles maybe this is for you but if you want to light, say a cigar or a bong? don't bother!I will be sending this back after I finish typing this reviewOH YEAH... MY DOG BARKS EVERYTIME YOU PUSH THE BUTTON FROM THE HIGH PITCHED SOUND IT MAKES!So just as I trust her judgement of people, I trust her hatred for this lighter! :)

Product was ok at first. It wasn’t expensive so the fact that it did not work great was tolerable. However, I managed to light two candles with it before it stopped working forever. It shows fully charged ( battery drains very quickly) but won’t light.

I bought this thinking rechargeable meant you can recharge with butane but nooooo it’s battery powered and an arc lighter. I was like, “uh.... do I want this?” Then after using it I’m like, “well yes, I want this!” Only thing is you need patience to have the arc set the wick or incense aflame, since it’s not like you’re adding open flame to open flame. But otherwise, this is a keeper!
