My second rebuilt e scooter that's 2 years maybe even 3 years newer in battery and motor and the ESC I bought from you is bigger and instead of only handling 350 w like the first one I bought and I liked except for it didn't have any suspension or air in the tires this one at least has air tires but it's supposedly a 3:50 or 500 watt ESC yet I could barely get it to move like it wanted to run in slow mode yet I had cut each of those wires off individually and coated the ends and glue so they couldn't touch. This one should really blow the other on away not sure why it doesn't

It works but slow i did 20MPH going down hill and the bike left it behind (it was not pushing) and about 3 up hill with some growning from the motor from a dead stop. Max current it pulled was 21 amps they listed 30 amps i say its impossible for it to pull that much considering my voltage drop was only 2 volts from 41.4 and i actually improved the traces on the circuit board to handle more current and create less heat and less of a voltage drop.60 volt caps in this over all build i found several cold solder joints that could cause it to fail early.Battery used for testing was a Ryobi 40 volt battery 5 amp hour that i normally use for my mower. Bare in mind the cells in a Ryobi battery are only rated 10 amp each and the set up inside is 2P so the pack can handle 20 amps for certain. The speed and power may improve with a more proper battery like a 3P set up instead of 2P I may test it more with a second battery added to the mix for a 4P set up to extend the range and current handling.Over all if your looking for light coaster and help up hills this will work but i found it a bit slow and needed to help it along going up hill using the pedals.

These are great controllers easy to install and make the scooters faster and have a lot more torque. Bad news is they only seem to work half the time and you only find this out after a tedious install and the. Have to waste a couple hours putting in another. Reason is because of poor soldering. If it wasn’t for this these would be perfect and a 5 star. Also the ones that do work have not burnt up or broke.

I ordered the wrong part so couldn’t test it out, but otherwise seems to be of similar quality to the very similar part I bought this to replace.

Instructions, instructions instructions. I can't say it enough. If you are dealing with this wiring, and purchasing these in the u.s., English is probably what you can understand. I don't understand if you are left a review about no instructions from months ago then it would make sense to add them at this point inside each package or at the least an email to the recipient. Then to add insult to injury, the pictured diagram on the package is all in a language I cannot understand, and none of the connectors are labeled. This is just fantastic!! I gave a second star because at least amazon you can see the names of each connection and try to match them up. At this point, just disappointed.*update 12/30/18 I connected this using some of the pictures from Amazon and was able to get it to work. One more star because it works.... Not a bad controller for the price, but still disappointed in no instructions. You can purchase connectors here on amazon. They are Molex type connectors. I only used a handful of the many connections. Throttle, hall sensors and phase wires along with the power distribution. The other wires I ended up cutting off. The controller has a variety of options I didn't need or use
