Simple and works well
To start this is for roof prism binoculars. It isn't wide enough for porro prism binoculars, so if your binoculars eyepiece isn't in line with the objective lens, don't get this. The design is a simple sturdy plastic platform with a firm foam cover on the top. An adjustable strap goes over the top to secure your binocs to the platform. I tried it with several different sizes of binocs from 8X30 up to 12X50 and had no issues adjusting it to hold them securely. Don't put too much tension on the strap. You just need enough to hold them on, too much tension and you will lose your eye to eye width adjustment on the binocs. I like the elastic loop on the end that allows you to adjust it once, and quickly mount or un-mount your binocs. Overall, this works as expected, and is a great addition to my kit.

A Real Binocular Tripod Mount
Snapzoom Universal binocular tripod mount is an outstanding solid, secure and reliable mount I could find online. It fit best for my 15x50 Japanese binocular with a firm grasp of the device. It has an intelligent and beautiful design with a light but solid mounting base and with a nice webbing strap to hold the binocular to the base. There is no sliding of the binocular in any direction. It also comes in a nice solid box that I keep for storage when not in use. In fact, I had tried another mount with an adjustable strap and very large buckle (flimsy design almost at the same price) that did not work for me at all and was returned. I strongly recommend this mount for binoculars of moderate size (mine is 6 in. long, 5.5 in. wide and 3 in. high but I believe even larger amateur binoculars can easily fit).

Works well
A bit tricky to use but once everything is set up it does the job well. Strap is stiff but it holds your bins well.

Sturdy.
Just hooked up my binoculars to this tripod mount, and it’s a solid! It’s got a sturdy build and a really secure grip. The mount is super stable, even with the extra weight of my phone attached. It’s a bit on the bulky side, but it does what it’s supposed to do without a hitch. It’s made looking at birds a breeze because I don’t have to worry about my binos wobbling. Plus, it’s pretty easy to use - just clamped it on, and it stayed put. For the quality and steadiness, the price is a total bargain. Definitely recommend if you need your optics to stay put!

Works very well
It works surprisingly well on medium sized binoculars such as Nikon 8x42 Monarch or Canon 15x50IS. It also feels very secure because the binocular rests on a flat surface, rather than being held in the air with a screw. Highly recommended.

Simple and works well
Use with my 10x40 while sitting in a blind glassing antelope and other animals. Judd exactly what I needed. Hands free and stay stable.

Simple and effective
This Snapzoom mount is okay for medium to large binocs. But it is insufficient to handle my foot-long very large & heavy "big eyes," although it could probably suffice with a different strap. Meanwhile I adapted its simple design idea using a metal plate found at the hardware store, which I bolted to my tripod mount, and then used a padded velcro strap from an old orthopedic brace to keep my super-large binoculars in place. It is working great! But I'm keeping this Snapzoom mount as a spare, because I think it would work fine with a larger and better strap.

Great value, better than expected, solid mount!
I used this mounting plate on an AZ mule deer hunt. It worked great as a generic mounting option for multiple sets of binoculars, especially the laser range finding type that does not have the screw/post mounting option in the middle/bridge. This mount definitely outperformed it’s price point especially when some more namebrand options are several times the price, backordered, and not prime shipping. I recommend strapping down the binos to get a fit, then taking them off and cinching up the Velcro another 1/4” and them strapping them down tight with the bungee looped end. The bungee/shock cord was much stiffer and sturdier that I would have expected, which was good, so when locking downs I worked the loop over the stud by coming at it from the side instead of directly over the top.

I've seen this on the Optica Exotica Youtube channel where he reviews all sorts of binos. This mount is much more stable than the tripod adapters that screw on the front, faster to get binos on/off, works for all sorts of binos (big and small) and is quite light (but not flimsy). Very happy with it!

A long 1/4 inch screw is required to mount this to your tripod. The velcro is removeable and can be replaced with whatever you prefer. Note when tightened the binoculars may start to fold more than you'd like, for this reason put something between the binocular folding axes to keep the binocular from bending further. The velcro isn't as flexible as I thought, as a result the binocular wiggles ever so slighty. If you have anxiety about your binoculars falling off. Either replace the standard velcro it is shipped with a more flexible velcro or alternitavely go with Lieca Stabellite or the Swarovski Universal Tripod mount. Overall for the price this is an excellent binocular tripod mount, I gave it 5 stars because it is customizable and has a very solid grippy memory foam.
