Best sub $50.00 Camera with night vision out there!!
So, I have been playing around with multiple wireless IP cameras for a while. Each one has night vision. This one is awesome! Let me break it down for you.Pros:1. Works great! Clean images regardless of distance, just like good ol 20/202. Image does not degrade over time.3. Night Vision is fantastic for the money. Better than cameras that cost 3x as much. Crisp, clean image.4. Solid Wifi, I mean solid. No packet drops, no wonky images, just smooth as silk. Wireless signal stayed steady between 52-55 db without flapping. I am a network engineer and this is the best wireless signal curve I have seen in a while on my network.5. Works with Blue Iris, iSpy (Native support for this camera), VLC, Netcam Studio, (I verified these)6. Dynamic DNS is available if you want to use it.7. Auto Switch to night mode!! AWESOME!! Love this feature!!!!8. Ability to turn off the LEDs. This is cool, you cannot tell it is even on. In fact I had two people tell me my camera was off!! NICE!9. The web interface is clean and to the point. Not too busy with all the basics.10. PRICE!! I cannot believe this thing works better than my $100.00 + Cameras!Cons:1. Instructions, not very good, not terrible just not good.2. Sonic Setup is wonky! My experience was that while it worked, the phone app locked up and I could not tell it had worked. If I was an average user I would have thought it failed altogether and packed it up. But instead, I looked in my wireless router and figured out the IP address it got.3. For extended use a static IP is required if you do not want to use Dynamic DNS. For all practical purposes, if you are going to have this on the network for an extended period of time you need to assign a static IP Address to it. So that you can get to the interface and also use it with some of the products I listed above.4. Only practical to 24 frames per second, Not really noticeable to most people. But meh... still good rate though. Even in night vision mode.5. Image blur on quick movement whether night mode or daylight. May be related to Con #4 But for most things it is not noticeable. So there you have it. One other note. You have to buy the NIGHT VISION MODEL to get night vision. I have seen a lot of poor reviews given here for Night Vision on models that clearly do not have night vision. If you want night vision order it. Don't bash this product because you bought the wrong one!!!

Super buy and follow setup instructions in sequence
I am now monitoring my four cameras 1000 miles away and I can even see the tree branches dance with the wind. I almost returned them because I thought they cannot be paired to my Wi-Fi and phone but I was being too "wise for it. I decided to go back to the instructions and followed it to the T and finally got it done. There are basically two steps to set it up. One to pair the camera to the WiFi and the other one is to pair it to your smartphone. Both steps are done using your smartphone. Also, it is very important to wait around one or two minutes for the camera to register itself. This happens twice during the setup so be patient.

Email motion alerts make the UOKOO camera a highly affordable WIFI system!
In this review of UOKOO Home WiFi Wireless Security Surveillance Camera System with Night Vision/Two Way Audio Black, I will discuss the merits of this product from the perspective of an abandoned home owner. The camera was mounted on the front porch of a house that had no incoming power so an external USB battery bank was used to keep it running.PROS:• Quick and innovative sonic WIFI setup• Excellent phone App• Covered Outdoor operation confirmed• Works via cellular internet when away from home network• Great day and night vision capabilityCONS:• No image quality adjustment optionsCONCLUSION:FIVE STARTS FOR AFFORDABILITY OF THIS PRODUCT WITH ITS SUPERB MINIMAL FEATURES. The UOKOO camera is EXTREMELY STABLE and only goes down when you lose power or wireless internet connection. Camera is easy to configure for WIFI networks. The motion email alerts give you 2 pictures only. You can hear audio from the camera. Expect poor performance if your wireless or WIFI network is slow. If you only need to view picture video on your phone and need a camera that can survive outdoors then this product is excellent for the job!Camera Image QualityYou cannot adjust the bitrate or quality settings of the video for the UOKOO. You can select 240P, 480P or 720P. The image sensor is very sensitive to outdoor sunlight causing near white out. I had to lower the brightness setting during the day and increase it at night to compensate for this. Please note that these settings used in the app will directly affect the appearance of images sent via email. The night vision is very good and can provide over 20ft of viewing in my testing.Audio QualityThe camera will output audio to your phone and record audio when saving video from the iSmartViewPro app. Keep in mind that you will want to set the video resolution to 240P to hear the audio clearly on a slow internet network connection. The microphone gain is rather high so you will hear much more than you expect including wind and rain.5VDC USB Power ConsumptionUsing a fully charged Anker PowerCore 26800mAh portable USB Charger, the UOKOO Two Way Audio Edition camera ran from 6/22/2017 1:45 PM until 6/24/2017 9:30 AM.Using a fully charged EasyAcc 20000 mAh portable USB charger, the UOKOO camera ran from 6/24/2017 9:45 AM until 6/26/2017 7:37 AM.The camera sent over 1,000 motion alert emails and was also broadcasting constant video feed to a DROID tablet during each of these power consumption tests. The camera is very sensitive on initial power on to low amperage over USB. You must provide the camera with at least 1 amp of 5vdc power or it will not work. The easiest way to determine if your camera is booting correctly is waiting to hear a loud beep after about 30 seconds of providing it power. I tried plugging the camera into a 20ft long micro USB cable and it simply would not work properly. The camera kept appearing and disappearing from my WIFI network when it had low USB power. So far, my testing has shown the UOKOO camera will function outdoors in high heat and humidity but only under the protective cover of a porch.iSmartViewPro App On Droid And iPhoneYou can use this App to view live video feed when away from the home network of the camera. You must ensure the camera WIFI network has internet! The app for this camera is very stable. The WIFI setup for the camera uses a series of audio beeps to configure the camera for your WIFI router SSID and password. You have to wait 80 seconds each time to see if If the operation is unsuccessful and then try it again. Since I was installing this camera outdoors, I had to sit in my Jeep and configure the camera where there was no background wind noise. The app will display live images from the camera to your phone but not anything like 20FPS high resolution video. Expect 1 or 2 frames per second at 240P on your phone when away from the camera WIFI network. My WIFI network was a T-Mobile MIFI cellular internet access point. The network speed was very slow because of the poor internet T-Mobile has but the camera did a great job with the anemic bandwidth T-Mobile gave me.Email Motion AlertsEmail photo motion alerts do work quite well with this camera. You must ensure that you set the viewer App to 720P video or you will only get email photos that match the resolution set in the viewer. The configuration of the email allows you to send email to up to three different addresses as well! I have received over 10 motion alert emails in just 15 minutes when I was working near the camera. For this review, I used iphone App Version 1.3.20 and UOKOO Camera Firmware Version: 00.20.02.0046ATTACHED PHOTOS: The mounting of UOKOO camera outside with battery pack. Several motion events to help you judge the image quality from various distances.---=== UPDATE 7/21/2017 ===---Purchased another exact model UOKOO WIFI camera and discovered that Camera Firmware Version: 00.20.01.0048 API Version 1.7.0.0 offers reduced video lag and increases response time to control inputs made in phone app when compared to UOKOO Camera Firmware Version 00.20.02.0046 API Version 1.5.1.6. The video quality also seems to be dramatically improved too compared to prior versions of the cameras I am using.

Has issues.
Works ok when it works. This camera tends to go offline rather often and has to be reset. This usually seems to happen at the times I really needed it to work. Took some effort to get it set up and networked. The supplier sent me some info that was somewhat helpful. The other issue involves the sensitivity settings. There are three settings available; low, medium, and high. I am using this camera to monitor my front door. It is covering a very small area. Using the medium setting, I was being notified of activity several (30+) times a day even though there was no activity. Upon setting the sensitivity to low, I can do jumping jacks right in front of the camera without triggering any notifications. I wish there was an option that would work for me.I'm including a picture that the camera emailed to me. I've got literally hundreds of these just like this one.
