I wish that the package had some information -
I did not like that the package had no information such as how to use, usage options, disposal options, care, how long do the bags last, etc. The bags were placed in a clear plastic package with no information whatsoever.

Handles indoor flooding well
My only gripe is that they take forever to flatten out again. They absorb a load of water but they get very heavy to move around.

These really work
We bought these just before Tropical Storm Hilary hit Los Angeles. They worked perfectly. They were lightweight and easy to install. When the rain hit, the bags inflated and kept the rainwater isolated in one area. We could then use a sump pump to vacate the water. Really good value!

Nice alternative to sand bags
These bags are nice alternatives to sand bags, but they are definitely just as heavy when they are full of water. They also stay wet and full for a long time. If they do not dry or shrink up after 2 weeks of dry weather, they won’t likely shrink up, and you’ll have to throw them away.

Become flat after one week
These bags worked great originally but became flat after 1 week. Not sure why.

Definitely Does The Job
The individual bags are great and do exactly what I bought them for, to change the flow of the water. Only time will tell if they're just as effective the next time I try using them.

You have to pour on water or submerge in water IN ADVANCE to expand them
They are of limited use for anticipated flooding since (as the description on amazon and the instructions say) you really need to POUR WATER ON - OR SUBMERGE- THEM TO EXPAND THEM IN ADVANCE. They only stay expanded when wet. Don't expect them to expand fast enough or complete enough if deployed dry.
