every last drop
Had to return mine because i found another product that supported up 2 four water pickups, so it was more economical that buying 4 of these.. with that said i did manage to test it out and filled up a soup bowl with water, it managed to get every last drop out of the bowl, very impressive. If you only need 1 water pickup this is your best bet.

Just doesn’t work well
The programming never wired so I could only cycle it on manually. And it never really had good suction. I spent more time trying to fix them than it actually worked.

UPDATED: Manual has the two wires incorrect, instructions are incorrect, and bad hose connection
Update: 4 months later:The pump died. After four months of turning on twice a day to pump down a small bilge pocket that always got wet, the pump died. Hard. I couldn't fix it. Overall, the bad manual, the mislabeled wires, and the bad hose connection took this three star rated junk to a one star. I don't recommend using this. I bought the parts separately and made a new one for under $60 with a cheap pump, cheap programmable switch, and some home depot tubing. Overall, this is one of the worst things I have bought for my boat from a company that I have, in the past, respected and trusted. I hope I don't run in to other issues with their other products because I have a lot of them on my boat. :/So this thing does a good job at what it designed to do - pump small amounts of water out of the bilge. Once installed, it worked well.First, there are three wires: a black wire (ground/negative), a brown wire and a brown wire with a stripe. The manual says, "Brown wire - manual function. Brown wire with stripe - automatic functions." It then includes a diagram that shows the brown wire going to the "manual" blade on the back of the switch and the brown with stripe going to the "automatic" blade on the switch. THIS IS BACKWARDS! I troubleshot for about 20 minutes because every time I flipped the switch the unit would turn on regardless of time or programming. I reversed those two wires and viola! It worked. C'mon Seaflo, I expect your instructions to AT LEAST be right on ALL products regardless if they are new or not.Next, The 1/2" hose connector is threaded on to a connector. The barbed connector didn't have a rubber seal and there was no thread tape on the female side. That meant it couldn't mate and make a water tight seal. So when I turned it on and it started pumping water leaked all over the place. However, a simple solution: a rubber O-ring and some thread tape. The last major issue: The programming instructions are wrong! After you go through the steps to program times it says, "Press the P button until the current time is displayed." You can't. If you keep pressing the P button it just keeps cycling through the 16 programmable memory slots. Instead, when you're done programming, just stop pressing buttons. It'll go back to displaying the current time in about 10 to 20 seconds. So to the engineers: Freaking correct your manual for the wiring, that's an unforgivable mistake and, if you'd made that mistake on a different wire or on a different piece of equipment, could have ended up with my getting seriously hurt! Also, it almost made me rip the whole thing out and send it back to you. Make the female threads from the pump box to the 1/2" barbed connector longer so they will seal tight. Or add a small O-ring and some thread tape when you're putting the thing together. And correct your instructions on programming. This is just a stupid mistake.I've got a lot less faith in this thing now that I know the manual should have failed QC, but didn't. I wonder what else QC failed to check... We'll see how she does over the next couple of years.

A MUST for any boat bilge
Most boats get some water in the bilge, even if just from condensation of the air against the fiberglass (or aluminum) that is in contact with colder water. This system from Seaflo is super easy to install, and there is plenty of hose, so you can move around the suction sponge to other areas as needed. I have one sucking water from the front bilge compartment where i get most of the condensation, and it keeps it nearly dry. Adding a second one by the rear bilge pump.
