Ok so this gel works really well!! Here’s some tips I learned along the way lol so learn from my mistakes!I had never done gel at home before this kit. I like the variety of colors and the little holder it comes in is perfect.Use some kind of alcohol wipe on clean nails before so it stays well.Here’s my biggest tip: THIN LAYERS. I repeat THIN layers!!!!-I figured I would lay it on thick to save time and not have to do 2 layers. Well that’s a terrible idea. Apparently if the gel is too thick the UV concentrates more on that area and it literally burned my nail/skin. Like burned it lol (this is not the products fault)I did more research afterwards and found out I applied it incorrectly basically.Painful mistake that took weeks to heal.Picture is of the mani I just did correctly haha.I’ll be getting the other sets of colors now that I know how to do it right!

***UPDATE*** So i forgot to come update. It's only been two years! LOL I still really love these gel polishes! I have even purchased more since I left my original review. I've even gotten rid of my old brands that i was using. They wear and last so well! I will definitely keep using this brand for as long as they make it! And a tip for those of you who might be having problems... your nail bed prep is literally the most important step! Go watch a YouTube video if you don't know how. If you're struggling with application or how long it lasts on your nails I guarantee it's not the polish! It's probably your prep technique or you're not using the right amount of polish. AGAIN...PREP YOUR NAIL BEDS PROPERLY, then do thin layers. You can do multiple layers if you need to! ❤️I have been a nail tech for ten years now and decided to try something different after finally getting tired of fighting with my old "professional" brand. I purchased this product with my own money and am not being compensated in any way for my review. That being said I am seriously impressed with the beetles line of gel polishes! I purchased several of their different sets this last week and have been extremely happy with everything I have tried so far. Everything came in pristine condition, safely packed in a beautiful box with detailed instructions on how to use the product as well as troubleshooting tips. There is a nice variety here between cream, glitter and jelly options and the wide variety of colors. All of the polishes applied like a dream. I put two coats of color on all of the swatches but there were a couple of the cream pastels that I could have gotten away with only one coat. Even the chunky glitters went on smoothly and required minimal fuss to get the glitters even. This set also comes with a base coat, glossy top coat and a matte top coat all of which were top notch products as well! The base coat seems to do its job and the gloss top coat went on smoothly, leveled itself out well and is nice and shiny. The real star of the show for me was the matte top coat! This is the first one I found that goes on and cures with no streaking! If you're on the fence or confused about the many options of gel polishes available here on Amazon, just stop looking and buy this one! You won't be disappointed! I will update my review with how well the polish wears and how long it lasts after I have done a set of nails with them.

I love the quality of Beetles gel polish! The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because of the size of the bottles. I know you only get so much when you pay lower prices but I would rather pay a higher price and get regular size bottles than only have enough for a couple of sets. I tend to use these for nail art or small things if there is only one nail that needs painted a certain color or if I need to use them to mix colors to get a certain shade that I do not already have. I think the Beetles collections are good collections for a beginner who is just getting started and familiar with nails. They provide a variety of different colors and they are top notch quality when it comes to pigment. The top coats and base coat are also amazing and I ended up purchasing them separately again outside of the collection. I have heard a lot of people speak recently on Beetles and they have not had positive things to say about them due to contact dermatitis but you have to keep in mind that some of these collections are offered with a very small curing lamp. That lamp is technically a FLASH curing lamp, you still need to put your nails into a full lamp to fully cure them to avoid any skin allergies such as contact dermatitis. The lamps that are offered with the collections will NEVER fully cure your polish! But all in all I would recommend this polish 10 outta 10 times to any beginner or professional. I just really wish the collections came with the full size bottles of polish instead of the tiny ones.

I love beetles gel polish! Bought these for fall colors and was not disappointed. Very easy to use and appreciate the ability to do my nails at home instead of going to the nail salon.Great quality.

I bought these for fall because they were the perfect colors. I wanted my nails to look nice without paying salon prices so they’re very affordable. The bottles are very small, but that just means you have to go slow and use very thin coats. It usually takes 2 to 3 coats to get a solid color. But I will emphasize very thin coats. Otherwise these polishes will peel off in a day or so. I started doing some thinner coats and it has lasted me over two weeks! Fun to use!
