This was the right choice for me. I am an IT guy and have been buying their products for years back to days when they were mostly serial cards. This bag fits my needs as it has lots of storage and is light weight. Did not want to carry around a bulky bag. This bag will NOT provide much protection if you need it and has really no rigidity to the structure. As a matter of fact once you remove the bottom removable accessory case it has a hard time standing on its own. I am OK with all this as I want light weight. Everything seems to be well built with good zippers and quality material and stitching. Another quality StarTech product

Perfect for me looks like it’s made out of the same material high priced brands are. Only complaint is the zippers do not look as good of quality as the more expensive brands. For the price it is a buy no question.

Wanted to use it for steamdeck. They backpack looks nice, but I didn't get the impression it is good value for the money. The bottom is solid, but the top feels really cheap. Despite the fabric being high quality there's is no structural support. I ended up unsettled because the bottom is rock solid while the top of the backpack feels flimsy. It is a good backpack and for people who don't mind this will serve you well. It's just not for me.

Great backpack for an IT Guy. Holds all my devices securely. Durable.

This backpack is amazing. It holds everything my tech husband needs to carry but without messing up his back. He had sciatica nerve pain surgery long ago and his old backpack used to mess up his back big time. This one holds is shape and is so amazingly built that he hardly notices it even when it is full. It has made a huge difference for him.

Within just a few weeks of using the backpack the seams on the straps began to tear. Over time several seans in various places began tearing and pulling apart. Within 4 months I had a hole on the bottom seam and on the top seam near the handle. The handle itself also tore two months after that. I would not recommend this as a tech backpack. Maybe as a souvenir, however it definitely seems that design is far better than quality.

I really want to like this bag, but the zippers are just not up to the quality they need to be. Two of them have broken off much earlier than I would have expected, and the main compartment zipper is constantly getting caught in the side padding. The storage capacity is great, I hope V2 increases the size or shape of the front pocket (not the glasses compartment) and adds some way to keep a water bottle more safely in place on the side pocket. Overall, somewhat disappointed.

I work a regular shift, but am also on call so i have to carry around a laptop and all the tech stuff i need for work - this bag does it great! sometimes, the on call work is a lot of sitting and waiting, so i also stuff my steam deck in the bottom storage in it's original case - it fits PERFECTLY. tons and tons of pockets both with and without zippers in the front two storage compartments and you can easily fit a laptop + docking station + cooling pad + power supply in the back pocket.

I love this backpack. It's big enough and I love the separate container in the bottom. It allows me to store all my convertors and little things in a safe and easy access way.
