Clean and Efficient
So far I’m very pleased with this stove top. It cooks very fast and it looks great on my granite. The controls are easy to use and work just by touching, not having to press. This was my concern because pressing buttons do not last long. I tested to see if pots stay in place while cooking and they DO NOT slide off as a review I read claimed. I’m very pleased I bought this because it’s easy to keep clean and the surface does not present any harm from burning your hand after you’re done cooking although it notifies you that it’s hot. It’s quiet and it instantly boils water in about 3-4 min using a tea kettle.

Great cooktop for vacation property - second review
First time with an induction cooktop - it is fast! Takes up very little space on the countertop and looks nice and sleek.Back with a second review: we have had this now for more than half a year in the hotel suite and it is a great cooktop. I highly recommend it. You can't get better for the price and for how safe and easy it is to cook on it. I have had only compliments from guests and never a complaint. I purchased a good inexpensive set of pots and pans from IKEA, and they all work great. I like that the cooktop won't start without a pan on, and that it's cool at touch.I think this is one of the rare induction cooktops that has the "vertical" design, so you save so much space on the countertop. I am posting some more pictures to show how nice it looks. Very happy with the purchase.

It's a really nice product and I like it!
Hi,You're right. And I asked electrician to re do the wire according to your instruction, it is red now.And it is really quick now!Thank you so much to help me out and I really impressed by your customer service as well as the product!Sorry about the comment I have made and I have corrected it.I showed my cooktop to my friends and as well as the whole story, and they are all impressed by your customer service. I really appreciate.Celine^_^On May 5, 2017, at 05:50, kitchen-and-home - Amazon Marketplace <[email protected]> wrote:reply your email:--- Original message ---Hi there,I double checked the voltage as you suggested. It is 220V.And you tried the stove as you said but it didn't get Red when I turned on to power level 9 after ONE minute and longer!!!You said that it should be after 6 seconds it goes red. No.I checked my two cooktops I bought at the same time, both of them not got red after minutes. But they did turned hot indeed. Just not red and not hot enough though.I am so disappointed at that one. I renovated my house with these 2 cooktops. I designed my countertops to fit these cooktops. But now I can't use these to cook and even I can't remove them as well. It will be a big hole on the countertop if I get rid of these cooktops!!!I really don't know what should I do.I attach my new Kitchen photos. It looks so nice if you don't count on them to cook.

I love it. More recent (Jan. 2025) models might not be as reliable. Wish it had smaller footprint.
Update to all the below-I bought a second one, but it is a slightly different model, and after using it a handful of times, the LED lettering went haywire and is unreadable, so I am returning the second one that I just purchased and changing from 5 stars to 4 stars, because I still like my original one. It's a shame because it seems to have more power than the one I bought 2 years ago (I'm wondering if my first one is just losing power over time?) -BELOW IS MY ORIGINAL POST ABOUT MY FIRST PURCHASE OF THIS ITEM:Wider coils than my old induction cooktop for much more even heat, and more heat level selections for perfect simmering. It's too easy to slip and touch the 'OFF" button and shut it off though*, but overall a great value, glad I bought it.Update- 1 year later, it's still working nicely; I would buy one again if I needed another. Interesting that it says that the 12 different power levels are not evenly spaced; you'll want to experiment to figure out which power level to use for whatever you are heating.Reasonably priced, I contacted a manufacturer of a much more expensive cooktop asking what made their cooktop better that the price was higher, but they never answered me.It would be more handy if there was infinitely-variable power control knob you could turn like they have on gas and electric resistance stoves, but I'm quite happy with this the way it is. I think this cooktop power setgtgings are achieved by constantly turning the coils off and on, less on time and more off time for lower power levels, more time on and less time off for higher power.17 months after purchase-*The only negative thing is that it's way too easy to accidentally shut it off; brush against the off button when you set down a spoon or spatula, and it quietly shuts off unnoticed -this would be better if pressing and hold the "Lock" button would lock it in the "ON" position, in addition to locking it off.Does anyone know how long I might reasonably expect this to keep working? Or how long induction cooktops can generally be expected to last?21 months edit-It would really be nice if there were identical controls on either end of the cooktop that I could choose which set of controls are active and which side not so I don't hit them accidently. The problem with controls up front and center is they are too convenient and I'm forever brushing against them and changing things accidently.Still 5 stars though so far.
