Phenomenal light and clarity. Does NOT have auto-focus, which I found very frustrating with several prior cameras. Also has much better resolution than 2 prior "4K" cameras. Better than the last one I purchased which was "brand name"

I've tried a few cameras over the past few years (as have many people, I suspect) and this one is definitely up there in terms of picture quality. However, there are some caveats.Good:* Picture quality is very good, as would be expected.* I didn't notice video/image lag when testing on my lenovo ultrabook.* Plug 'n' Play* Both models comes with a lens cap (that said I much prefer the one on the Autofocus AI 4K, as its much easier to use)Bad:* The monitor clamp does not work as well as some others I've tried. It seems to be a bit too 'bulky' to handle my monitors well. I can put it on, however its not as stable as I would like.Ugly:* True AI 4K: This is a 106 degree wide-angle lens. That means its great for a conference room or similar ... not as great for capturing one person on a zoom call. In terms of image quality when I'm on a call its good, of course, but most of the image is the background instead of me. My ~8 year old or so 1080p logitech webcam ultimately gives as good an image of me in terms of detail as this 4k webcam does as I'm more centered and thus have about the same # of pixels dedicated to me for each webcam.* The microphone is fine. Its certainly serviceable but it doesn't really work much better than the microphone on my laptop, for example. I find a dedicated Jabra mic works much better (as one might expect).* True AI 4k: The lens cap is just a rubber cap. While its better than nothing, I would've liked something a bit more integrated, or even a hard lens cap.* True AI 4k: I found the USB-C port on the back of the webcam to be a bit 'loose' - I had to get the usb-c cable in the right angle to stay in properly. As I haven't seen any other complaints on this I'll chalk it up to something weird with my particular unit.* Autofocus AI 4k: The front of the webcam seemed a bit scratched up when I received it. The only protection it had was some paper, so that might be it. It looked like there was supposed to have been a plastic piece you pull off but mine had already been removed (or so it seemed) - not sure what happened there.* Autofocus AI 4k: the off-white with yucky colored splotches is not an appealing design ... no idea what they were thinking with that color choiceTrue AI 4K:Overall this is a great webcam ... if you need the wide angle capability for a conference room or similar. If you're looking for something for yourself for zoom calls or similar I'd look elsewhere.Autofocus AI 4K: This replaced the True AI 4K for me. Image quality is great and the lens cap is a big improvement over the True AI 4k (though it doesn't cover some sensor on the right ... light sensor? not sure). I think its a great buy if you want a 4k camera for zoom for yourself. My one big complaint is the clamp; its just not as good as others I've used.

Another junk webcam, lasted a year and a half before performance started to drop as well as disconnecting from pc and other issues. For the price I was expecting a better product.

Like many folks, I've been working from home for the last two years. I'm very lucky to have a loptop and a nice big monitor on my desk. Using the camera on my laptop means that when I look at the big screen, i'm presenting the side of my face to everyone on the conference call.So I ordered the WyreStrom 200 camera which sits on top of my monitor.Here's what I like:This camera installs easily. Even without adding software, my MacBook recognized the camera and microphones.The camera physically installs easily- the camera includes a versatile clamp that allows it to rest on top of my frameless monitor without obscuring the screen.The camera includes a rubber lense cover and a green activity light. The activity light is a good indicator that something is going on, but the physical lens cap assurs me that the camera isn't on if I don't want it on.The camera includes some available software. On the 200 model, it will allow you to control the brightness, gamma, saturation and sharpness of the video produced by the camera. It will also let you choose the field of vision.This camera has a very wide field of vision. It is perhaps optimal for a conference room with six to eight people. But I'm just one guy in a little office. On standard-setting, this camera will show every corner of my little office. But the software allows me to crop the field of vision to something more appropriate.The 210 version of this camera includes an AI tool that allows the camera to automatically zoom in on whoever is talking. This one doesn't have that feature.The camera has a USB C connector on the back. It comes with a USB C to USB B cable.To be honest, this camera is more than I expected. It produces lovely videos in high definition. It is so good that I have to shave every day. It's probably better quality than I needed, but then again, it's also probably future-proof.I think you will like this camera.

I have an M1 Mac mini on Ventura. As soon as I connected this camera, the computer restarted due to a kernel panic. Next time I tried the computer froze and then restarted again. This was with their Focus software installed. In a few minutes that it worked it did show a preview in the Focus application but there was no sign of any way to zoom the camera, which is what I needed most. I am returning the item.

Works and looks Great. The only negative is that it came in a plain brown box with NO paperwork of any type. NOTHING! I had to search the web to find a web site that told me how to use it and where to go to download the software for it.
