Supersonic is the best choice ! Trust me, I looked for a long time and then I looked some more before I found this GEM
It wasn't easy but I am so glad that I chose the supersonic cassette player recorder. It was the best choice I'm not having any problems whatsoever with it. I'm using this to tape stories for my grandchildren and I'll probably tape a couple stories for my daughters to because they have requested it.Years ago I used to do that for my daughter but over the years the tapes were lost. Your kids are never too old to hear your voice and you're not going to be here forever so do something to leave behind your voice to comfort them when you're gone and for them to enjoy while you're here both. Build some memories build some Treasured Memories. I really like this cassette recorder so much that if I ever need another one I'm going to order the same one again.UPDATE 1-27 I just ordered one for my Grand, this is such a nice recorder and she can record back for me ♡♡♡♡♡♡ as well as listen to what I send her. I just ordered one more today (1-29-17) for a different grandchild. It made more sense to me than to just get a player..this means I ordered 3, one for myself and one for two separate grandchildren in two separate homes. This way we can all hear each other's voices and tape stuff for each other. in my opinion this tape player is just as good if not better than the ones we grew up with. Cassettes are not completely dead, even in this high-tech world they are still needed.

I got this today. Unpackaged it and threw all the packaging away. THEN I used it. BIG mistake getting rid of the packaging. It sounds like it's recording the mechanics of recording as there's a constant static sound with the music. Very hard to understand the singers. Then it stopped recording all together even though the tape was spinning. Anyway, it will join the packaging in the dumpster. Very disappointed. Never thought a tape recorder could be this bad.

Good product at this price
Good solid product. Buttons require more force to operate than anticipated. Speaker is clear and loud but of moderate sound quality.

Works well for me
It works well for my purpose. I had some tapes my parents and I exchanged when I was in the service in the early 70s. They are both gone now, but I have their voices.

Great product
It's a great item it's very easy to use very compact I put it in my studio so I can listen to my old tapes that I have and I've hung on to and I just love it great product
