I have purchased about 5 of these. They require the app called Geeni. The picture is very clear day and night. It has many options in settings. You can choose day mode (doesn’t work great at night) or night mode (doesn’t work great during the day) BUT it also has an AUTO mode that will switch from day to night and then back to day for you. You can choose to use motion or human detection or turn it off. It’s very windy where I live and trees moving in the wind will trigger a notice so mines turned off. Same with the sound. You can choose to set alerts for noises or turn that off. You are able to listen to what’s going on in the area and if your dog is misbehaving, you can push a button (kinda like a walkey-talkey) and give him commands. My husband and I have even used it to talk to each other when one of us is away. You must use the 2 internet and not the 5 but it doesn’t effect your ability to use it. They offer a cloud service to keep your recordings or you can insert your own SD card. It just records over the last recorded when it’s full. If you don’t care about recording, you can just use it for the live stream. I’ve been across the country and still able to check out what’s going on in my house. It’s light so you can use command strips to hang it anywhere including upside down. It has to be plugged in so you need to be near an outlet but the cord is very long. Set up was super easy it talks (literally) you through it. Just set it up from wherever your putting it. It will tell you to be close to the internet but when you unplug it to move it where you want it, you’ll have to go through the set up again. It shows every camera on one page on my iphone however, the video is not live until you actually click on the screen you want to see. That’s my only complaint. It’s cheap enough that you can buy one just to try. I bet you buy more.

So, setup was a little difficult because the app used for monitoring the video is very poorly programmed. There's no support or help, no directions on how to register, even though there are clearly some requirements on passwords. No one to contact that I was able to find. This is normally much more straightforward. Once I did figure it out and registered, then came the configuration and addition of the device so I could use it. This part went very quickly, but the camera, despite being plugged in (my other cameras don't seem to have a problem), turns off on its own after an hour or so. This isn't remedied by logging in, you have to go tk the camera and turn it on again and let it try to troubleshoot. This only worked once. Thereafter, it tried to make me reconfigure the camera, which would not work due to the camera turning off at random and not being detected by the app. I could not reset the device with the directions, as they did not work (holding the reset button).This issue has rendered the device useless. I wish I had kept the box so I could return it. I can't even use this thing. Please save your money.

Got these on sale for a really great price. The picture is clear. The audio sent from app through the speaker isn’t very clear. It’s records nearly everything but also misses parts of videos as well. The app has to be completely backed out of each time for your video to pull up and you have to turn the volume on option twice before you can hear anything. Still like it for the price and it was easy to set up.

I have purchased several cameras for around my house mainly because my two grandsons I got custody of fight constantly and now I can back up the camera and see who is telling the truth. Sometimes it is not even on and they act better. At Christmas it was on in my living room and I don't often watch the video unless I have a reason and I didn't realize the camera had set to come on but I was watching as my family was here to exchange gifts and my 6'4" 44 year old son was sitting on the couch holding and petting my little 13 pound dog. I got her way after he moved out and he has a 90 lb dog and it was just so endearing with quality video. Just a great little camera for the price.

The camera is Small and doesn't feel cheap. The camera quality is actually surprisingly good and it works well. All you need is a phone to set it up with the app and a Wifi Connection :) It comes with a very long cable to plug into a wall outlet so you dont need to worry about it not reaching places you need it to be.Update: It doesn't seem to stay on whenever you aren't home and sometimes the motion detection doesn't work. Also if you would like it to record things and save them automatically then you need to pay for a subscription. So unless you are at home and manually pressing record then I don't see a real use in buying this product. The camera quality is maybe 480p so its not terrible.

So I am the type of pet mom that wants to check in on my girls (cats) at anytime. I bought this camera and I must say I love it. I got it for $12.99 so I decided to buy two. The night vision is awesome and the picture qualityis excellentfor a cheap camera. The fact that I can talk to my girls from its speaker and listen to them as well. The audio is great. The setup was super easy. I went to YouTube for help. I have one in the kitchen and the other in the livingroom.I am so satisfied with this camera.

I bought it in sale and I’m really glad with this purchase. Subscription ti keep your recorded videos is also very affordableI pay 5 dollars to keep the recordings of 30 daysSo it’s good. Only flaw is that you do need to keep it connected .it won’t stay charged
