Rage Tail Craw

These are great baits! I would suggest waiting until they go on sale though. Overpriced at 6.99. They are NOT DURABLE, especially when compared to zman plastic baits. Very soft, great action, catches fish! I go through 2-3 packs per fishing trip because the fish tear them up easily. Still a 5 star plastic because of the pinchers action and color options, just don’t be misled on their durability.

I have been fishing with soft plastics for quite a while and this rage craw is without a doubt one of the most productive lures I have come across. Doesn't matter if you steady reel it or let it sink to the bottom and work it slow like you would a worm. I get my best results by Texas rigging it with a 4/0 EWG hook and a 1/16 oz worm weight with a steady retrieve. Try different levels when retrieving it to find what depth the fish are holding at. It has a slot on one side to hide the hook point which makes it pretty much weedless.

First time trying these and the action is amazing. Can't go wrong with the rage tail series from strike King. Very durable, good packaging and lots of colors to choose from. Been fishing it Texas rigged with a 1/4 ounce bullet weight. Might be a good trailer for a jig but would probably affect the action of something like a chatterbait.

This is one of my favorite plastics. I've caught bass, walleyes and pike on this. It works best on bass and they last longer on them as well. Teeth have a tendency to tear them apart a bit quicker. For example, 2 pike or 7 walleyes and it torn up bad enough that it couldn't be used. More than 20 bass and still usable.

It let me do only 4 stars I wanted to give it a 5 star awesome bait to catch bass fish, been buying these for 10 years now.

I must admit that the Rage California Craw from Strike King is my absolute favorite. This plastic craw has great action and when bitten, it is usually on the drop to the bottom. Great value for the money, and they tend to last a while - just depends on how often you fish with them. Hope this helps.

So these rage craws absolutely work. At this point I’ve tried Green Pumpkin and PB&J and both have produced bass. On green pumpkin I hooked a pretty nice sized 3 or 4 lb largemouth. The product is excellent. I had to order a replacement as the first one I ordered came with the package empty. Not sure why Amazon would pack and ship an empty package?!? Another problem is with Purolator. Every single item ordered from Amazon that ships with Purolator is always late....100% of the time...you can count on some excuse from Purolator. Intelcom is an excellent courier, very rare is anything late. Update Dec 18....Ordered again. Purolator has had it since Dec 5. Dec 11 they say "Weather delay - service will resume weather permitting"...no update since then. So true to form with Purolator...package is late and an excuse....at least they are reliable!

These are great lures but I think Amazon is confusing itself with Ebay....$38.00 for an item that is $10-$11 everywhere else?
