Voice is louder and crispier
Big difference between stock tweeters and these DS18 ones. The voice sounds crispier and louder, would recommend this product.

Sounds great with a minor downfall
Purchased for a 2016 Toyota Tundra with amplified non JBL radio. Sounds amazing. These are NOT plug and play. You will need to put the hardwired pigtail off of the OEM tweeter and splice it to the new pigtail for these new tweeters. They fit the stock location perfectly.

200% soundstage improvement out of the box
Difference is night and day for a drop-in replacement for factory tweeters. Front soundstage is immediately brought to life. This is without adding extra amplification, guessing due to very high sensitivity rating for these tweets. Personally for my ears, horn tweeters are a bit harsh vs. cloth dome to my ears. But turning the treble setting to +/- neutral is working. It's an amazing, easy to install (see YouTube) upgrade that instantly upgrades the sound for the otherwise lackluster Tacoma sound system. Also added a Fosgate 8" drop in subwoofer for behind the rear seat, but waiting on wiring kit to review that.

I ordered the speakers with two other items and the package arrived two days later. Nice.
The speakers that I ordered were pictured as having the same connectors as the original Subaru configuration. They were not, but after I did some fancy splicing and installed them, they work brilliantly.
