I love this product! It doesn’t have a strong smell and that for me is just a healthy product for my curls. It doesn’t have things that just damage your hair. Products with strong smells have a lot of chemicals that are really bad for your hair and this product is not one of those.

I absolutely LOVE this product! To be honest, I usually grab it at Marshall's or TJMaxx when I see it, but it’s 100% worth buying wherever I can find it. It’s hands-down the best product for my hair type. This cream defines my curls beautifully—every time I use it, I get so many compliments. It gives me that extra boost of confidence, so I save it for special occasions when I want my curls to really pop. I've even gifted it to friends so they can experience the magic too. Total must-have for curly hair!

I am an Asian lady with what I had always thought was frizzy coarse hair, which was a source of endless frustration when I was growing up because it didn't behave like the stereotypical pin straight sleek hair of kpop idols. I only figured out after stumbling onto the curly hair subreddit that I actually have wavy hair (medium porosity, curl pattern 2B most days, 2C on a perfect day). Finding products was a challenge since the leave-ins that I was used to using were too watery but most curl creams were too heavy. One of my friends recommended this brand and I ordered a sample of the Mixed Chicks leave-in from their website. The order came with a sample of the styling cream and I fell in LOVE and ordered a full size tub from Amazon. It smells great and has decent hold on its own to last a day or so. I wash, then squish this in, and reverse plop with a tshirt for 10 min before diffusing to 75% dry. I'll add mousse or gel before plopping if I really need my hair to last for an extended work event. I've never liked my hair more!

I have been using Mixed Chicks for many years now. This is a good gel and does a good job of holding the curl pattern of my hair. It lasts a long time as a little goes a long way. The CON is that the smell is pretty strong to me. Not a bad smell, just really perfumy. It also has a bit of a caste after it dries. If these do not bother you, then this is a great gel to try. I have 3C-4B curls.

This product was recommended by the receptionist (? age 25ish) at my dentist's office. Her hair was beautiful - very short with soft curls. I am a senior with chin-length curly, frizzy hair. I've now tried this product twice. The first time, there was little effect on the frizz. The second time, I used a bit more. My hair was STIFF and looked nothing like her soft curls. The next day, frizz was back (even after sleeping on a pillow with a silk pillowcase.

Love the way it makes my hair feel. My hair is soft but it firms it enough to hold my style.

My son uses this & it’s his favorite hair product. It’s thick, but not too thick. It’s also not as sticky as some products. We love it!
