Wow what a book
This is an excellent book for anyone who needs to let go of someone they love but really don't want to. It lets you look at the reality of your situation, as difficult as that might be, and understand that it is time for you to move forward, both for you and the other person. Life changes things change and we shouldn't fight against this. I've never cried so hard as when I was reading this book, because it's difficult to accept that this love is coming to an end, despite anything anyone may do. I still don't know how I'm going to do this, letting go of my partner of 25 years, untangling them from my life to move on without them. But I know I must try-somehow, someway if ever I am to have peace within myself. I will read this book probably 100 times to keep strength to let go. I've never been more sad and relived to hear the words in this book.

This book gave me the guidance on how to let go, why I need to let go and painted the picture for me with words. Highly recommend

Book Review: This Is Me Letting You Go by Heidi Priebe
I picked up This Is Me Letting You Go during a very raw and painful season—my divorce. It came recommended to me as a helpful read, and I was open to anything that might offer some clarity or comfort. In many ways, this book is what it promises to be: a collection of self-empowerment essays encouraging readers to let go of what no longer serves them. That said, I personally only connected deeply with maybe two or three pieces. Those few chapters really did speak to my heart, and I’m thankful for that. But overall, much of the content just didn’t resonate with me. I could see how someone else—especially those who really lean into the self-empowerment genre—might find it meaningful and uplifting. For me, though, it felt like it missed the depth or redemptive arc I was hoping for.I don’t regret reading it, but I wouldn’t say it’s a book I’d return to or keep on my shelf. I’ll likely donate it to a thrift store in hopes that someone else walking a similar path might find comfort in its pages at a more affordable price. Is it worth your money? That depends. If you’re drawn to self-empowerment reads and have enjoyed similar collections before, it could be a good fit. But if you’re looking for something more rooted in healing, faith, or deeper transformation, it might fall short.Still, three stars for effort and for those couple of chapters that truly met me where I was.

Must read!
Wow - I bought this book in January and picked it up at just the right moment! It resonated with everything I was feeling. You have to read this book; it's truly the best eye-opener I've had in years.
