Expensive? Yeah… But, Absolutely Worth It!
I was hesitant to spend $20 for a single piece of chalk but after reading so many positive reviews I decided to give it a try. It is truly exceptional and totally worth the price. I play almost daily and am still using the same piece I started with 7 months ago. It is incredibly clean, no chalk dust all over your cloth. It applies evenly and sticks to the cue tip without transferring to the cue ball. Although, out of habit, I chalk after every shot (because I would have to), you could easily only apply this every 3-4 shots. If you are vacillating just buy a piece and give it a try I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Best chalk on the market!

Great Product!
Great chalk! Very clean and seems to last forever. I play six to eight games a day five days a week and I typically chalk up every one or two shots and it never seems to wear down; Probably could go longer in between chalking without too many issues. [For reference, I am an APA SL4 -- not great player but I do ok...I miss my share of shots but it is rarely due to miscues. Point being that on average I take a fair amount of shots per game so I chalk up a lot.] It doesn't leave very much residue on the cue ball outside of a hard break and the cloth stays clean longer. Definitely worth the money. I would suggest getting a chalk holder with the screw cap to prevent the chalk from getting damaged in your stick bag. If you take care of this chalk it will last a long time.

AWESOME !!!
Just got this chalk yesterday, played a little last night. I can't believe the difference it made. Covers the tip nicely and only had to re-chalk 1 or 2 times during a game (And that was just out of habit). When I did re-chalk, 90% of the tip still had chalk on it. Grabs the cue ball so much better than the mid-priced chalk a purchased about a year ago. Applied english was so much more noticeable and effective. Yes, I was hesitant to spend $20 on one cube of chalk, but after playing last night, I'm not regretting it. No chalk dust either.

Hands down, best chalk out there!
Creamy like application, goes on smooth. NO RESIDUE! When I say no residue, I mean NONE, not on my ferrule, hands, cue ball, or table. No teeth grinding, screeching sound. You do not need to chalk but every 3 or so shots, depending on how you are shooting. I typically apply before every shot, out of habit. Now it's more shooting, less chalking. Very rarely have I miscued with this chalk, If I have it's because of a failure on my part. I store mine in a metal holder with a top, as I use a magnetic pocket piece. When not in use, I will put in a zipped sandwich bag in my cue case to prevent any moisture or drying. Not that I have had this issue, just a personal preference. May seem pricey for one "cube", but it is well worth it. Because it doesn't go on very fine and gritty with a lot of fall off or residue, this chalk can last you 8 months or more. I play league and tournaments so I am using it at least 5 hours a day, 4 days a week! My husband has been a huge predator fan for quite some time, I have converted him. It only took one set and he was asking for me to order him some! A lot of shooting pool is in your head. You can have the best cue, best tip, everything... but if that chalk isn't there you're going to mess up or miss more shots than you make. I did not have to prep my tip or anything, it went on like a dream. I'll tell you all alike I did my husband, Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. You may even find a new favorite!

Worth it!
I wish it were cheaper. But I'm still going to buy it again. This is the best chalk I have ever used!!! I have been using Magic Chalk for a few years because it is so much cleaner than Master, and I've tried several other premium chalks as well, but, after reading the reviews here, I thought I should try TAOM at least once. I cleaned all the blue chalk off my tips, reshaped them quickly, and went from there. It "feels" to be of similar consistency to MC. The very first things I noticed were the lack of noticeable chalk transfer to the cue ball and no "bridge" chalk on my fingers. My table is far cleaner as well. I think it is at least as forgiving as MC in terms of re-chalking, but the round shape makes proper application much easier. It is not for you "center of the cube" drillers of chalk. After a few days of use, on several cues with various tips (medium or harder) I can tell you that, if properly applied, it does not cake on the tip, has exceptional grip on both leather and layered tips, and makes my game more fun, despite the price. I can see a cylinder of it lasting 2-4 months of 1-3 hours of casual play almost daily. That lifetime is yet to be determined but my impression is that is at least as long lived as MC. The enclosing paper seems to have logical guides for trimming it back so as to prolong the useful lifetime of each cylinder of chalk. I'll edit this in 60 days or so in relation to that value factor. Okay. I missed my 60 days and it is now 120 days of daily use. I'm still using that same piece and it looks like I'll get another considerable amount of time from it. I cannot stress how well it promotes good chalking technique. I am using it on a rotation of cues with various tips, from hard to soft, both laminate and not. It's even better than I hoped it would be. If you shoot regularly and never seemed able to find that perfect chalk, get some! You're going to love it.

Great Chaulk
I absolutely love this chaulk and would have given 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive. It stays on your cue's tip much longer than any other chaulk that I've ever used. True, you use less than "regular" chaulk and there's little to no residual chaulk on your hands and clothing. However, I do chaulk my cue's tip after every shot (its part of my routine that I'm too old to change). Several of my competitors, who use this same type of chaulk, do not chaulk up after every shot and also have had good results. I do recommend this chaulk (and you can purchase different V10 chaulk colors to match your table's cloth's color).

solid works great, less dust ,clean. If you lay this and on top a regular chalk you can tell the grab difference.

Let me start by saying I strongly believe in this chalk. I have used it for a very long time. It is great! However, this seller must be storing it in a dry location, regardless of it showing up in a plastic container. The first day of use, and the chalk chipped almost every application. Chalk shouldn’t look like this the first day. I’ve had this happen before and the the billiards shop told me it was a “dry” batch and sent me fresh!
