I wish I had just watched videos, rather than buying the book. It's not what I expected, but it would be fine for someone who doesn't have access to the Internet...

Clear Concise
Does what it says, provides clear and concise instructions. I found the exercises too easy, but my 4 year mum loves them. Think they should make it clear these are very basic for beginners but for that group, they are perfect.

Chair yoga
I take classes in chair yoga, I felt like this boo would have more positions in it. I have more in my class than what’s in this book, so a little disappointed in it

It’s fun
This yoga book for seniors is a fun workout. Not to crazy hard. I enjoy getting up after a restful sleep to start my chair yoga. Held me with my balance issues. Try it! You might enjoy it!

Enlightening
This book not only provided instructions on yoga and how to do it, it was inspirational. I will continue to use it as a guide to a healthier me!

Chair Yoga for Seniors is Excellent for indoor exercise.
I don't use this as much as I should, but it is a good guide to help me keep in shape.

Is this English?
This appears to be a very poor translation from somebody (author unknown) who does not normally speak English. "Move your head further down across your chest, your next ear to your next shoulder." Your NEXT shoulder? How many do you have?"roll your shoulders down your back" What does this mean?"roll your shoulders away from your ears" This is just an odd way to say whatever they are trying to say!The drawings are so-so, and the text is obscure.

Excellent reference and guide for seniors who want to remain mobile
This is a well illustrated book with good instructions printed in an easy to read format. The exercises and routines are appropriate for seniors with moderate disabilities. I have been disabled by long-standing arthritis, but with the help of this Chair Yoga, I have improved in strength and flexibility. Note: Before I started this self-help program, I asked my physiotherapist to assess the book and she said it was one of the best she has seen. I highly recommend it.
