Bought this St. Moriz Professional Self Tan Remover (100ml) to easily break down old, patchy fake tan before my next application, especially on stubborn areas like elbows, ankles, and wrists. What I Loved (The Pros): Fast-Acting Foam Formula: The thick foam texture pumps out easily and clings to the skin nicely. It actively breaks down old tan pigments in just 5 minutes without having to aggressively scrub your skin raw. Deeply Moisturising Finish: Unlike harsh exfoliating scrubs that leave your skin feeling dry and stripped, this formula is infused with aloe vera. It leaves your skin feeling incredibly soft, smooth, and hydrated. Perfect Clean Slate: It effectively dissolves the top layers of old tan buildup, making it significantly easier to create a completely even, streak-free base for your next tanning session. Non-Abrasive and Gentle: Because it relies on a gentle formulation rather than harsh physical exfoliants, it is great for sensitive skin areas and doesn't cause any redness or stinging. What Could Be Better (The Cons): Best Used with an Exfoliating Mitt: While the foam dissolves the tan beautifully, you do still need to gently wipe it away in the bath or shower using an exfoliating mitt or washcloth to completely remove the stubborn patches on your joints. The Verdict:If you fake tan regularly, this product is an absolute necessity to prevent muddy buildup. It saves a massive amount of scrubbing time in the shower and keeps your skin beautifully prepped. For the price, it works just as well as high-end tan removers on the market!

Removed fake tan

Bought this after I developed full-on Winkle Hands (for the uninitiated: Claudia Winkleman-style over-tanned paws) from repeated applications of Sienna X Ultra Dark Clear Mousse. This remover promises results in 5 minutes, but it took four tries, a Brillo pad, and a silent prayer. I don't think it's a miracle remover, but it does help – especially when paired with warm water, a bit of exfoliation, and lots of patience. It might work better with St. Moriz’s own tanning products, but for Sienna X, it was more of a gradual fade than a clean slate. Smells okay, and didn’t dry my skin out, which is a plus. Tip: Don’t expect instant results. Rub gently but persistently – and probably avoid white towels for a few days.

It did not help remove the fake tan at all. Do not recommend

Absolutely fantastic. Not sure why this has had so many bad reviews. As I have just used it for the first time and im now white again lol. I was caked in fake tan aswel an i mean caked. Came of instantly. Ordered more already. Brilliant

The bottle had leaked so I only received half a bottle. Tan needs significant scrubbing to remove but on the plus side it does leave you skin feeling nice and smooth…. Not sure whether that’s the product or the vigorous exfoliating though!

I wear a dark spray tan and this helps get it all off without scrubbing hard so I’m ready to do another spray tan. Highly recommend

Entgegen vieler schlechter Rezensionen habe ich das Produkt ausprobiert und bin wirklich begeistert. Ich trage den Schaum auf und lasse ihn etwa 5–10 Minuten einwirken. Danach dusche ich mich ab und sehe deutlich, wie die braune Farbe in der Wanne abläuft – der Effekt ist also eindeutig sichtbar. Ich nutze den Remover regelmäßig als Vorbereitung für meine nächste Bräunung, quasi als kleinen „Refresh“ zwischendurch. Außerdem habe ich ihn auch für meine orangen Handinnenflächen verwendet, nachdem ich beim Selbstbräunen mal wieder nicht aufgepasst hatte – und auch da hat er alles anstandslos entfernt. Für mich funktioniert das Produkt zuverlässig, und die Haut fühlt sich danach sauber und gepflegt an. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
