Perfect for cabinet refinishing
I purchased these to refinish our kitchen cabinets. These got the job done perfectly. I needed to update our kitchen while we are still using it and chose to do it by hand. These rollers are perfect. They absorb the right amount of paint, aren’t messy and leaves a smooth finish. They do clean up well but I chose to buy a big pack to use as throw aways. Our cabinets turned out perfect. I recommend and would absolutely buy again 👍

Works great!
I painted 2 end tables, 2 coats, with really thick paint. I can't believe how nicely the paint went on & I love that there's no brush strokes. cotton roller finally ripped but it was great for that small project. I hope I can get replacement roller for it. I'll buy a few.

Gives you the best finish
I was applying a polyurethane finish on furniture. I used a brush, and got brush marks. Sanded it all the way off. Then I used a foam brush. An improvement, but I still got obvious marks from the brush. Sanded that a lot to remove the marks, and even got to bare wood in two spots. Finally, I read this exact foam rollers were the best. I re-stained those spots, and applied using the roller. I did some light sanding between coats two and three, and a final sending after coat five. And now, hey, I actually look like I know what I'm doing. It turned out great!I was using a water-based product, so cleanup and re-use was a snap. I'm never going back!

good price, nice finish, but
good value, leaves nice finish but starts falling apart if used to long, just change out at this price...used for epoxy and marine paint

Not what I expected. My mistake.
Should not have bought these. I think they would work for their intended use.

Worked well for smooth surface
Used these to apply appliance epoxy paint to an old freezer. Worked ok. Job turned out ok. It isn't spray applied quality, but don't expect that from a roller anyway. It saved me a lot of time and clean up hassle.

Very Handy Little Roller
This is my 2nd FoamPRO roller and I find it to be a very useful painting tool. Perfect for around doors and windows, and it makes it easy to paint baseboard. The overall roller (with foam attached) is 9-inch in length (the yellow handle is half that length at 4.5-inches). The metal rod is .24-inches (6mm) and fits the #163 foam rollers. The foam rollers are described as 2-inch (50 mm), but they are actually about 2.4-inch in Length (61mm) and about 1.4-inch in width (35mm).It's easy to hose off water-based paints and after allowing the roller to dry, you can then re-use the foam roller with another color. The #162 Fine Finish Roller product picture shows a hole in the yellow handle for easy hanging, but my yellow handle has no such hole.

Allowed epoxy paint to go on smoothly, did not crumble or fall apart and was easy to use
This roller, and the fine finish high density roller refills made for it by the same company was very smooth and responsive to my movements. I used it to refinish a bathroom sink with Rustoleum Tub and Tile, a product which has frequently been found to break down roller material as you're trying to paint. This was not my experience at all. I did change rollers with every coat (1 1/2 hours apart), which is generally considered a good idea. Doing this allowed each roller to perform fully and when done with the job, it was still in one piece and if it were a larger area I would have felt comfortable continuing to use it.Roller stayed on while in use and it was easy to pull one off when done. When inserting a new roller, you feel a little click and then it is secured.I had a successful experience with these whereas a lot of people doing the same job with the same epoxy paint, had a lot of trouble with similar rollers having the same specs.

Better than I thought.
The product is very small and handy for those small chips and wall patches you want to paint over.

Works great with rolled edges. Vs one edge being squared off like the typical foam roller
Great quality
