Sticks great.
This stuff is great and a great value. It sticks good with little to no drips. Just put it on today so will see how it holds up. It smells ok and more like a new truck smell. It looks like is will protect the frame from rust I bought a cheap $29 gun and it would not spray it out of the tubes. Them upgraded to the $50 inokraft gun and it did work better than expected for this product. Both shipped overnight.

worked great
I'm convinced it's a great product; I used it on a camper that sits at the beach all summer in the salt air. The frame and underneath are rust free and show no signs of corrosion. I applied it with a cheap air gun I got a harbor freight which did the job. I first washed the underneath then after drying applied it to all surfaces underneath to include the support jacks. The coating is a moist finish but doesn't seem to have dirt stick to it from the wind, also a bonus hornets and ants are not a fan, so it helped with insects. I should of taking some photos. The one thing to remember is applying is some work using an air compressor and spray gun.

Great stuff!!
I've gone through probably 5 gallons of this stuff. Fantastic product. Great quality and seems to last. Offers great protection for the winter months on the bottom side of my vehicle. It does have a little bit of odor but not a bad smell. Great value for the money. You will definitely want the woolwax gun to spray it with. Packaged nice, no leakage.

Sprays well out of a other brand gun
Previously used another brand treatment WW. I got the kit that came with their gun which I have now used to apply this. My main issue with the other stuff was how thick it was to the point where it was not very usable below 40° out of their own tool without warming it up as I went. This stuff sprayed incredibly well comparably. This stuff seems to last longer as well as I have applied it from a can previously. This is definitely the way to go with a compressed air gun, so much easier to apply. This will be my go-to product from now on. I sprayed one body on frame 4x4 truck, getting inside all of the frame members and everywhere else, and also did one economy sedan. Ended up using about 1/2 of this tub. I probably put it on quite a bit heavier than needed, but why not go a bit over the top. As a bit more scent for about two weeks after, but it's nothing offputting to me. After putting it on a month ago I can't smell it anymore unless I climb under my truck.

Good product, applied well
Just applied the product today, so no long term results yet, but I was happy with the process. It went on easily in 60 degree weather using the Woolwax pneumatic spray gun. The product sticks to the metal surfaces when applied. I wore a respirator while applying it, so I did not notice an odor then, but there is a bit of a smell that I noticed in my garage afterward, but I would not characterize it as unpleasant.

Possibly a formulation improvement or a boo boo when they made a recent batch.
I bought a gallon of Surface Shield a few years ago. That gallon was a bit more viscous than the one I bought most recently. So we can say that the formulation has changed or they made a boo boo when then made the recent batch.

Great product
I used 2/3’s of the 1 gallon jug spraying my 2001 TJ. I sprayed inside n out of the frame which I had repaired. Seemed like the frame soaked up some of it. If my frame could talk it would thank me. My advice is but the 5 gallon size to save $. I sprayed at 50 psi on outside and 60 psi on inside with the cavity attachment. It was in the 40’s when I sprayed and will probably spray better in warmer weather. The cavity sprayer doesn’t spray a lot at once, maybe due to outside temps, so take your time and let it coat. Don’t retract too fast. Some areas u can see into frame and get an idea how well it’s spraying while your retracting it past the opening. Not much overspray that I saw. I wore protective goggles and a N95. U don’t need those when spraying the cavities however. Just the outside with actual spray gun. I layed plastic down in my driveway and drove onto it. Took about an hr once I got started. The sprayer worked perfect and put out a heavy coat so u can move quick with actual sprayer. The other attachment is an extension of the sprayer for areas u can see but can’t reach. The cavity sprayer has holes on outer part of tip. U might have to hit areas u Miss another day. I took my time but still missed little areas. Good luck

Works!
As a metal protectant this may be the best product out there. It has a thinner viscosity than Fluid Film therefore is easier to apply with a under coating gun with various wand attachments. Other reviews imply that Surface Shield lasts longer as it dries a little bit. That said Fluid Film has many additional uses as it does not dry out. Example: as a penetrating oil and works well on pad locks exposed to the elements. Both products work protecting from rust. Black looks great on frames, clear for other purposes. Have both colors on hand. The aerosol cans are very convenient.

Best undercoating on the market
I wish there was larger quantity size available (5gallon). This product is thick, creeping, stays liquid (does not harden) and overall the best undercoating on the market along with fluid film, without the strong odour. Recommend spraying in warm/mild temperatures, in cold weather need higher PSI. Thick and lasts long. Solid choice, will buy again.

Save your metal from RUST.
This product may be a bit pricey but, it offers superior protection against metal corrosion. Easy to apply, when using the proper spray gun. Very long lasting and doesn't wash off as easy as other products on the market. Used less than a gallon to do my entire truck. In my opinion it's the best product on the market today. Better then Fluid Film because of it's durability.

Great product
This is an excellent product and I like that it isn't thick, it passes through the gun easier.

Really unsure about the claims of this product
I got this instead of fluid film because it had a 2 year coverage claim. I found that it was no longer on parts of the car after one winter season up here in Canada. Same as fluid film. I think it would stay on in a climate that has less snow, but up here it just comes off. Could be salt content, could be slush, no idea. The product is much more runny than fluid film. This could be a pro or con depending on your application style For either product I am never able to get the coverage I want, my air gun sprays it on much too thick. I think I would like to try the black coloured variant next to help me see where the product has been used I would get this over fluid film if you are applying in cool weather and want to test our their claim themselves. if they have a money back warranty it might be worth documenting your application and following up in two years.

Great rust proofing coating and it lasts longer than FF
I love this stuff. I had sprayed a black tar type coating and it looked good for a while but rust got underneath and it it started to peel off in flakes. This stuff got underneath that old tarry coating and lifted it off and it flaked off in very large chunks but now there is no rust on the frame of the vehicle. Love this stuff! I have an SUV that can be prone to rusting of the rear hatch. A few years ago i sprayed PBB in the hatch and had a peek the other day - no rust even starting - just a coating of this product. It works very well and seems to stick better than Fluid Film in my opinion.
