This is similar to the Trader Joe’s ginger drink. I also use it in soups and sipping broths. It’s one of my favorite things to drink when I’m sick, inflamed, or under the weather: comforting, warming, and effective.I always keep some on hand. One of my favorite ways to use it is with Chinese dumplings—boil the dumplings or wontons in water til cooked; ladle out some of the water and mix with chicken bouillon and a packet of ginger tea; add dumplings. Great on a cold day.

Discontinued? WHY?! This was great!
It is perfect. It tastes great as well. I wish this was still available but it is not anymore here. It dissolves well in water. It is well worth the price, and was one of the only ones on here that was UNSWEETENED. Now I have to go elsewhere - what a shame.

This is the stuff I've been looking for - a very strong ginger drink with no sugar.So much of the stuff in the grocery store either has sugar in it, or the intensity has been scaled backThis is straight from Asia, the undiluted, non-sugary drink I've been craving ever since I got back from a trip over there; it's very strong, not to most Westerner's tastes, but it's very good if you've had this sort of thing before

Very strong and spicy
I purchased this to help with inflammation in my knee. The packet size contains a lot of powder. I would say that the whole packet with even 16 oz of water is almost undrinkable. It's very strong with a spicy bite that isn't really pleasant. Today I used half a packet and about 12 oz of water and that is better. I added honey. I am not sure I will finish this up but just wanted to let others know how very strong it is.
