Didn't work once.
I bought this around Christmas. I had a couple of cheap $30 airbrushes but they broke quickly with repeated use. I was looking for a mid-range airbrush and this one seemed to fit the bill. My first attempt with the brush, a Citadel Blue and the airbrush gummed up pretty fast. I cleaned it and put it away for a while blaming it on the thickness of the paint. I did however use Air Brush Flow aid with it. I got busy for a few months. I just came back to it and now it can't even spray an Acrylic Ink. It's spotty for a short while and then just stops. I didn't get one good spray out of this and I'm past the return date. It's a paperweight now. I would suggest stretching your dollar a little further...I have a feeling only the $300 range of brushes really stand up.

Noted issues.
I bought this brush as an upgrade from my Iwata clone. One issue I find this with brush, but can't find any information on, is that I can't feather the paint application. When I pull the trigger back, the paint instantly flows at full flow at 1/2 pull. I've cleaned the brush and set up up correctly, but it's sad when the $25 cheapy clone is easier to feather. I don't know if this brush is defective but it seems like it compared to using my friends identical brush. I am going to send it back for a refund.

Easy to operate & excellent design.
This airbrush is easy to clean, has an excellent spray pattern from (1/16 to 1"). It is durable with no problem regarding assembly/disassembly, no threading issues. I have an older single action siphon airbrush, this double action is far superior to it, using less paint. I used both water/acrylic base paints & enamel oil base, no issues, just make sure you have the correct mixing ratio. I paint model armour vehicles & "O" scale model trains, very happy with my purchase.

Having never operated an airbrush before I was a bit scared to use it both due to the delicate nature of the parts and worry abo
After spending many hours researching airbrushes, I was totally overwhelmed by the amount of information and options available. I finally passed over the cheaper ebay brushes and settled on the Paasche Tg series with a tankless compressor. Having never operated an airbrush before I was a bit scared to use it both due to the delicate nature of the parts and worry about the paint finish being poor due to my inexperience. Well was I in for a pleasant suprise the first time I used it to paint. After very little tinkering with the air and paint metering I was able to do a fantastic two tone paint job on a 1/72 German BF109. The brush easily controlled and capable of doing large areas and small details. Paint came out and settled smoothly on the model and did not obscure and details even after multiple coats of paint. I have not had any issues with clogging or paint splattering using Tamiya acrylics thinned 50/50 and the brush is easy to clean and reassemble. I can't compare it to other brushes with a higher price point but I feel this brush is a fantastic value. On a side note Paasche customer service responded to my e-mail message about hose adapters within an hour. Could not be happier with this purchase.
