The protective plastic case these came in arrived with a rip, but I didn't worry since I probably wouldn't keep them in the case anyway. When I took out the scissors and took off the rubber end, I noticed fingerprints underneath at the end of the blade - maybe from packaging if done by humans. Then I inspected them a little closer and there's a clear spot of...something on the metal. In fact the entire product seems pretty worn and not at all new. They otherwise seem ok, but will definitely be sanitizing these before use.

I bought these to cut/trim my nails (I'm a guy). I found these completely useless at that one job - the blades are too thick to get under the nail (let alone cuticles), and I also found them to be pretty dull and they ended up tearing my nail instead of cutting, which looks and feel rough/messy.

Love these cuticle scissors, insanely sharp, so be careful! Appear to be of very high quality and should last for many years.Perfect for the job of manicure and pedicure, very comfortable in the hand. I even used them for eyebrows shaping, and it worked effortlessly.Definitely recommending them to my friends and family members.
