Dragon Age Omnibus

I never know what to review - the seller or the product? So here's my opinion for each:Seller - Fantastic. I got this right away in perfect condition, so there's no problems there. 5/5 to the seller!Comic - Eh, like 3.5/5 honestly. The art is fantastic, but the writing seems so stiff and not really character specific, meaning that if you jumbled up the dialogue, any given line could have feasibly been said by anyone else. It's such a shame because the overall story, though plot-holed, is actually very interesting! Part 3 is vastly superior to the other two parts, yet, I feel like all of them could've benefited from a re-write. The art is fun and lovely, as is the overall plot, but gosh darn it, there really was a disconnect between the makers of this comic and the writers for the Dragon Age series. Isabella, Varric, and Alistair seem to all have the same personality, with only very few lines actually distinguishing them from one another (Varric has the highest frequency of nuanced writing...but boy is it sparse). While I do recommend getting this - it was absolutely readable and quite engaging - I would say that if you are looking for comic script-writing excellence, you might be disappointed. Just have reasonable expectations!

My daughter loves Dragon Age! Both the game and the books, especially the ones written by David Gaider. Thank you for the quick shipment and excellent condition.

Enjoyed the artwork and the story. It was fun reaquainting with good old Allister, after spending so much time with him in the game.

This story is so good they should have made a mini Dragon Age game out of it. Highly recommended.

Fans of Dragon Age will enjoy this canon continuation of Origins and Dragon Age II.

Great expansion of the plot between games. Characters don’t disappoint as always. Another piece of material to expand and develop an incredible world.

Great artwork, solid chunk of book. Story 1/3 through is fine. For DA fans its a no brainer for the price
