Narrow tight fit size 12 wide
These are nice boots and they look cool but just a warning to anyone looking to get them with wide feet. Get the extra wide option if possible. I got 12 wide but they’re still tight and the toe area is very narrow and my feet feel broken after a few hours, I thought I could break them in after a week of wearing them but I don’t think thats gonna happen and I threw away the original shipping box and tags etc which makes them ineligible for a refund. Be warned, if you need them wide go for extra wide.

Extremely comfortable and appear well made.
I wanted to write a review for these boots because, at the time of my purchase, they only had 28 reviews. For me, a frequent Amazon shopper, that was a bit concerning. So to help anyone else out that might be looking at them... They are super comfortable and appear to be very well made.I'm working on a Goat Farm in Northern Florida so they are being put through their paces during morning and evening chores, plus then whatever other projects come up around here, which is always a bunch of "farm-related type work".So far, they've held up great. The insoles they come with are removable, and I tried putting some Dr Scholls inserts into them but honestly the insoles they came with are actually more comfortable. The stitching has held up well, even when the Goats decide they want to stand on my feet instead of theirs. After about a month or so they are starting to wear in and "sag" a bit, but that's pretty normal from my experience with how often we have to slip our boots off around the farm to go inside and what not, and really has only added to their comfort level.I also have wide feet and ordered the extra wide, so if you have that same need I can assure you they really are extra wide. I've orded some boots that claimed to be extra wide, but still seemed more narrow than I would have liked.Hope that helps anyone looking!(I'll update if they suddenly start to fall apart, but if you don't see any update below this that means they're still holding solid!)

Excellent Build-Quality
I’ve been wearing these boots for about two weeks now. The break-in process was surprisingly fast (about 3 days). They come out of the box with very soft leather. I switched from a pair of Ariat Ventek Composite toe work boots and from an immediate comfort standpoint, the Ariats have better insoles and upper cushioning. The standard 10-1/2 that I wear runs slightly wide with these boots, which makes them much easier to slip in and off. With that said, if you have flat-foot issues like myself, do yourself a favor and buy some nice Dr.Schol’s gel inserts and stack those on top of the existing ones that come with the boots. After I did that, these Cody James definitely exceeded the comfort of my previous boots. I work on my feet up and down ladders all day and these boots feel like I’m wearing tennis shoes. Be aware that these boots are not completely waterproof so they will also benefit from a few mink-oil treatments before getting dirty. The Vibram outsoles already have an upstanding reputation for superior durability, so that is a huge advantage these boots have over many other brands. The upper material is breathable just like the Ariat Ventek’s so that helps with perspiration and also adds some comfort to your shin area. Definitely worth the money so far.* I will update as I continue to work in these boots.

These boots lasted over a year, with daily use
When I say that my husband is "hard on boots", that would be an understatement. He is a Quality Control Supervisor for a metal component company. Meaning he walks literally 5-6 miles a day, with welding and fabricating. He also has a blown ACL, which makes him walk slightly funny. He normally ends up needing new boots every 3 months or so, because of uneven wear. But normally by that point, the boots are tore up! The steel toe is exposed and the leather is ripped. These are the FIRST pair of boots that I have ever purchased, that ARE STILL COMPLETELY INTACT!!The only reason we're buying a new pair is because of the uneven sole, which is from his bad knee, and it took over a year for the tread to wear down.I will continue to by these boots, every single time he needs new ones.THESE BOOTS WERE MADE TO LAST!!
