This is simple intuitive to use. Works as advertised. I love the needle holder, (small hole with one flat side). This allows you to to hold a sewing machine needle while removing or inserting a new one. The advantage of the flat sided hole is that the needle is inserted in the correct position. I love this feature and use it all the time.

I would always struggle with super bulky seems or even starting off a project where my presser foot would be uneven. This totally solves both of these issues.

It works for sewing over thick seams.

I cannot sew bulky items without this tool. I had lost my original tool and this replacement has worked great, I use it whenever I’m working with recycled denim.
